A virus was detected in one of the downloads That’s a false positive. They happen all the time, but more frequently with a new update or a file the antivirus software/your browser hasn’t “seen” many times prior. See the antivirus troubleshooting page on the modding wiki for more information.
To help reassure yourself or confirm, you can click through to the VirusTotal report Nexus runs on every uploaded file from the files tab. This is where you need to click:
Note that it’s not uncommon for there to be some false positives here either — again, especially with a newer file. If you’re in serious doubt, waiting around a week will usually be long enough for antivirus and browsers to realise the file is fine.
If you’re having a problem and need to ask for support
Upload a log to smapi.io, following the instructions there on how to do so even if you think it won’t help. It’s always important.
Explain what’s happening in as detailed a manner as possible. If explaining things will be too difficult for you, then a screen recording (or a recording of your screen with your phone) of the issue happening uploaded to YouTube will help a lot.
Don’t worry if you need to use translation software to translate your messages — that’s perfectly fine. Or feel free to post in your native language and I can translate myself.
If you don’t follow the two steps above, it will take longer for me to both get around to your problem and to solve it because I’ll need to ask you to do them anyway.
Hi, just checking that this mod is compatible with online multiplayer / co-op. Do all players need to have this mod installed or just those who want it?
That confusion is completely understandable, though! I recently decided to move all of my mods to start at 1.0.0 at the next update they get, since they're *technically* feature complete, so starting at 1.0.0 makes more sense.
so I've been playing just now and went to donate to the museum, and the interface used the hardware cursor for some reason. it still worked, and this is the only menu I've seen that happen with, so it's not really a big deal, but it's pretty weird. the last time I donated something I didn't have this mod installed and it used the in-game cursor just fine. guessing that's not supposed to happen, lol
edit: also during regular cutscenes, apparently. this is still a totally necessary mod so I'm not worried about it, but I figured you should know
Wow. I... genuinely can't believe I neglected to think of cutscenes. They're going to be an easy fix for sure, but I'll dig into the museum donation thing now.
You know what, I actually have a very good idea as to why that might be, and it should be a simple fix... let me quickly test something out, and I'll push a fix if I'm right!

Thank you very much. That annoyed me as well all the time.
Works well so far :D
Glad it's helping out with your sanity like it is mine!
