Wow, your kid did a great job! Please keep encouraging her to explore her interests just like this. Support without pushing is exactly what kids need to keep their creativity, develop good thinking, confidence, and learn what things they like and are good at. I'm lucky my parents were like you and gave me such support, I had a lot of peers who either didn't get the encouragement or got pushed and the differences in their lives later are stark.
You are a great parent, your kid is a great creator!
This is super imprexssive for a 9yo and as a girl who got her start in the game design industry making mods just like this, if she's got the knack for it, starting this early she'll really be going places by the time shes ready for college! (If she wants to of course lol)
I recommend emagination camps- I taught a few summers for the camps, they're really great and give your kid a chance to make a game from start to finish over the course of a few weeks, and as a kid I went to ferris state game design camp-- there might be other colleges who offer this, but I don't know any off the top of my head. Whatever she ends up doing, I'm sure she'll have a bright future!!!:)
