STARSWIRL VALLEY [WIP]

I'll soon be going back to work soon, so I won't have as much time to work on this as I did.
Knowing this after having shown it to friends (and friends of friends, )
it would be unfair of me to continue withholding it, even in its current state.

Q&A (Contact Information)

"Why did you make this mod?"
People have talked about a Stardew pony mod for like, at least five years.

"Why not the actual FiM characters?"
While it's not impossible to change locations, dialogue, and NPC routines, past a certain point it would be a whole new game (albeit in Stardew's engine.)
I don't have the time or energy to invest in something on the scale of Stardew, not to mention the ever-present risk of a C&D from Hasbro.
I'm already deeper in the hole than I expected to be, haha. Stardew's a really big game.

"Will players be Ponified, too?"
Maybe. Hopefully. To preface this, it's so daunting a task that I haven't bothered to even try yet.

This is purely speculation;

From what I can tell, most Player animations can be worked around similar to NPCs, with the size limitations simply being yielded to.
I'm not sure what the limits of/where arms are affixed, but there's a real possibility Players may be locked to one race.
(With horns and wings as cosmetics.)
In a similar vein, it's possible that 'male' & 'female' options could be replaced with 'no magic' & 'magic', since they use entirely(?) separate sprite sheets. (Likely still with horns and wings as cosmetics.)
As for color customization, I've been thinking if pants would be suitable as a replacement for the default bodies (skin colors being comparably limited) or if there are issues with that, like equipment causing the Player to disappear or a lack of animations.

Anyway, not to mention that some of these ideas might not be compatible.
