Heya .o/ I haven't seen anyone in the comment section mention this yet, so apolegies in advance if you've allready been spammed with this message elsewhere haha. The next big update to SMAPI will case this mod to break. (The error message specifically notices that "Legady events are deprecated since SMAPI 2.9) I hope it's something that you can fix easily, this is such a usefull mod and it'd be sad to loose it to time, haha. Anyway, thank you for making this in the first place and have an awesome day!
So how exactly does this work? I seem to be having situations that are nowhere near your screenshot. The mushroom floor is supposed to reset to a random level once it reaches 80, but apparantly, the mod doesn't take this into account?
This means I end up with a calendar with extremely few mushroom days. Did they change it in the beta? Or is this normal?
I'll have to see if any recent beta versions broke this mod. Originally, this used the same logic the game used (with the same seed for the random number generator).
I'm having the same issue. Although, I wonder if something happened with how the game handles mushroom level spawns. Even before I used this mod there were days when I should have been able to find a floor but I cycled through 80-120 every day of the week and still got nothing.
**UPDATE** From the wiki, "Additionally, the mushroom floor is neither unique nor guaranteed -- there may be multiple active mushroom floors or no such floors at all on a given day, and that situation may persist for several days or weeks."
Looks like it's the game just doing its thing. The mod works perfectly.
I'm using Stardew Valley 1.3.10 and SMAPI 2.6-beta.12. Has been the same with beta 8. Shroom Spotter 1.2.0-beta
Your mod finds monster levels pretty reliably for me in different savegames, both as singleplayer or multiplayer host. Every supposed mushroom level I get is a monster level. I've read further down in this thread that monster levels take precedence over mushroom levels, but so far I've been getting monster levels instead of mushroom ones 100% of the time. Could you have a look into it just to be sure?
As a note, I don't think it has something to do with your mod, but rather with how the multiplayer handles these things. At the beginning, everything worked fine with the mushroom floors, but as soon as they were determined by RNG, it was out of sync. I assume that the RNG were new mushroom floors spawned is different for host and client and therefore it started overlapping. I am regularly hitting floors as client that say "this floor is overrun", indicating that the floor before should have been a shroom floor, but the "overrun" floor is a regular floor with rocks and nodes and such and no matter how often I go on the supposed "mushroom floor", there are none.
Yeah, my mod doesn't affect what layers mushrooms can spawn in. I know the reason why the clients have incorrect floors, but there's currently nothing I can do to fix it. It won't be possible until after SMAPI's multiplayer helpers come out. There is a value in the game that isn't synchronized between players, but the game uses it to determine if a floor is a mushroom floor. I currently can't manually synchronize that value, so MP support has to wait for now. Sorry.

Edit: can you send me your log? https://log.smapi.io/
Edit: Nevermind, I'll look into it on my own when I have time again. Thanks for letting me know though!
