what i often found is that unless the framework is obsolete due to the dev adding something that renders it useless (ex. custom wall and floors is obsolete in 1.6) it'll work!
i shall test it in my run however and come back with a definite answer!
In case anyone is wondering about this, depending on exactly which 1.6 SDV version you're playing with, it´s very possible Host Trees is now deprecated. One of the latest SDV updates (1.6.9, I think) made it incompatible with Json assets, and this mod depends on it to introduce most of its items. I should know, because I once tried to convert the mod into a DGA compatible version after a case of the Json shuffle. I couldn´t manage it because some of the recipes and items in this mod are made through the Producer Framework Mod, which recognized Json assets items but not DGA items. The good news is that with SDV version 1.6, all of this can now be done only through Content Patcher, so theoretically this mod can absolutely be converted to be playable in any up-to-date version. tiakall would have to give their permission, though.
I really adore this mod, and I hope it's updated soon! I don't want to rush at all, just hoping to show some love for this mod that hasn't gotten many comments
thank you for this... I am still thinking about .. how to tweak evereything because I have "(ppja) more trees" and now I have two sources for vanilla. Also it looks a bit like the pine tree is always snowy? I guess that's just the texture of the plant on it?
I love this mod and the new crafting recipes! The mossy items are just lovely to look at. And the terrariums (terreria?). Also appreciate the added immersion with villager dialogues & gift tastes. Can't wait to play with this for the WS/HSO packs :)
I have one request: would it be possible to add rotation/flippy options to the outdoor mossy lamp? They're honestly cute enough to enjoy as is, but my love of symmetry and customization compels me to ask!
Such a cute and fun mod, I really like it! However I noticed an issue when switching between save files: I was able to buy the trees in both my co-op multiplayer save and my regular one, but after buying the crafting recipes on the first save file, the recipes don't show up in the shop menus of the other save.
Not the end of the world, but it's a bummer that I can't make anything with all these host plants in my second game :(
Thank you for this modification! Ilove new trees and furniture artstyle, different dialogues and letters from villagers, the possibility to make artisian goods and it's integration in different mods like townies need more goods or holiday special orders
Hi there, thanks for the great mod :) I just wanted to let you know there's an issue with the mistletoe host tree, the description says it will bear fruits in the fall but it actually produces in winter xD
Hello great author I have added a Chinese translation for this mod, except the "content" dialogue which must be replaced all other items have been translated.(Google)
I love how natural these trees look in my game! Most mod trees it's just like, oh, another fruit with a bright color or whatever, probably some OP stats, but these remind me of when I'm actually out in the woods and seeing stuff on the trees. :) And the special crafts (especially the mossy junimo!) are a really nice touch. <3
