Any chance of a JA version? DGA still hates Raffadax's stuff and is part of why I'm not using DGA I loved this mod, but my new mod setup doesn't work with DGA :<
I could certainly try. It'll probably take me a bit, though. I tried making making a JA version once before, but couldn't figure out how to make variations for the rotation without making each color a separate mod. I'll have another go at it and see what I can do. At worst, you'll have "creatable" junimo plushies that don't rotate. I'll get back to you if and when I figure out what can be done here.
Alright, I gave it a shot, but it looks like I was right, JA doesn't allow for the variation it takes for the rotatable portion of the mod. That being said, I just tested Raffadax Light, and I was able to spawn all 5 machines, and operate them, without a problem. As far as I can tell, the compatibility issues are restricted to crops or objects that have the same name as those present in Raffadax's mods. I think you should be okay to play with DGA and the junimo plushies. Would you mind testing it on your end again, just with the plushies? It's just a hunch, but I have a feeling that even if the issue persists, the fix is actually pretty simple.
Oh afaik you can use it with the light version the normal one is where DGA has issues. Which is what I use and while not the only mod I use that doesn't work with DGA it just happens to be the biggest one. I can try fiddling with it at some point soon, I'll just make a backup of my current setup in case of goofs so I don't lose my save file over mod setups again xD
I see. Unfortunately, I just don't see any way to make a JA version where they can be rotated. I even tried doing an Alternative Textures version, but AT doesn't seem to work, either, so far. I'll keep trying with AT, though; it just seems like the most feesable solution at this point. I'm sorry I can't be of more help here.
Oh no, no worries. I was just curious if it were possible, I'm not familiar enough with making mods for the game myself, though I have been tinkering with making a recolor. But I put it on hold until 1.6 for the tools to make that type of thing easier. ^^;
Well if you ever need help with the basics of a recolor, feel free to message me. Personally, I use GIMP (presently down at the time of writing this), since it's free and has the tools I need, and not many of the ones I don't. As for tools, I use xnbcli. It's pretty straight forward, and it extracts both halves of the file in the proper formats (.json and .png), so you can jump right in to editing.
As a side note, I had a thought about the compatibility for DGA. Would you mind opening up the manifest.json files for the folder not included in Raff. Light, and see if DGA is referenced anywhere? Maybe he just didn't list it as a dependency? I'd do it myself, but I'm almost out of data, and it doesn't renew until the 13th.
I don't understand what exactly you're wanting me to open, I do NOT use the Raff light version, so opening that file isn't going to really help myself and others who also do not use it, Raff doesn't have it as a required thing because a fair bit of it isn't compatible and is stated as such, saying you need to use JSA instead of DGA. As far as understanding how to recolor I already know how and have a partially done one. I am just waiting for the changes of 1.6 since part of that update is meant to do things for that specifically, and not just general modding stuff. Which is the only reason it is currently unfinished. Recoloring vs making other mods is a rather different process which is why I know 1 and not the other. Until 1.6 is out I'm going to hold off learning more "proper" mod creation. :3
Sorry, I guess I explain things in a strange way and don't word things properly. My apologies. I just meant checking which folders are only in the full version. In a manifest.json, you can list another mod as "false" in the dependencies. That way, the mod you list (in this case, DGA) loads first, then whatever's in the first mod (in this case, Raffadax) would overwrite what's added in the DGA mod. I should have figured that he would have already tried that, so again, I apologize. I'm still pretty new to this myself. At any rate, I'll upload the Alternative Textures version. They can't be rotated, but you'll still have all 23 colors. Good luck with those recolors when comes out, I look forward to seeing them!
Keeping an eye on this in hopes that CF finally actually gets an update and stops making everyone's games crash. Seems very unlikely at this point given the mod author hasn't even responded to any of the many crash reports on the CF page despite having done other mod work recently. I'd love to use this but the crashes everyone's had, including myself, with CF makes me not want to even risk it :(
I've been working kinks out in all my mods, too. Yet, I can't place anything on my custom tables without them "falling through" the table, or turning into a potted plant-looking object. I even downloaded other people's mods for comparison, all with the same results. Unfortunately, Pathoschild is the only one maintaining a TON of mods, and I imagine is probably pretty stretched for time. It may be some time before we see any fixes, it may not be. Just know I'm working on my end to keep my mods as bug-free as possible in the meantime. I wish I could be more helpful.
I was able to save when there were no plushes placed, but as soon as one was placed in game, it would crash and not save (I have other mods installed but I double checked and none of them were problematic).
I'm really at a loss here. It works fine in my game, and I literally have them everywhere, even around town. I get the strange feeling it's originating with CustomFurnature, but I really can't be sure. With your permission, I'd like to post this log there and see if someone can help from someone with a little more experience with CF.
Edit: I just posted the log to the CF comments, so you can keep tabs on how things are going. Hopefully we can get some help.
Hello, just checking in to see if you got your problem solved, or if you still need help. Feel free to message me any time if you ever need any help. Cheers!

We're getting this error when the game is loading:
"Format 2 for SterlingDraven.junimo16ff/content.json is outdated, skipping Furniture Pack."
We're not sure what that means, but we figured we'd let you know.❤️🌻

If you don't know how to find/post it, go to https://smapi.io/log and follow the instructions there, please.
Then I can take a look, and get to the bottom of the problem. :)
