im still having trouble getting it to work, i have done everything in the comments but nothing worked. smapi is telling me that its an empty file and its not loading into the game
hi! im new to mods and I was wondering if this still works with current stardew valley/portraiture mod or is it discontinued? Only mod ive downloaded so far that doesnt seem to work for me :(
hello! i can confirm that it still works! so wat u will need to do is to extract the file and there shud be png images of sebastian in it. once u get the portraiture mod, open it n there shud be a portrait folder alr in it. open that. n make a new folder name it however u like. n then paste the png images inside. thas it! i hope this helps

First download SMAPI - Stardew Modding API - When you extract and open the program it will automatically search for the game folder. If it doesn't find it you can Ctrl+C Ctrl+V the path where the Stardew Valley icon is. Then Portraiture - Extract it inside Stardew Valley\Mods
Did everything the instructions said to (Unpacked inside of portraiture/portraits; even tried using vortex once) and even hit the P key when speaking to him and all it gave me was a notice above the dialogue that said "New Sebastian Portrait (Beach Included)- 8363-1-0-1616881804. No replacement photo appeared. Tried going to bed and talking to him again with no changes. Saved the game and restarted and still no changes. Not sure what else I can do, I have all the requirements downloaded so I' not missing anything.
Not sure if it's not working because I didn't install the several other language requirements, or if I'm required to make a whole new game to get it to work.

Then Portraiture - Extract it inside Stardew Valley\Mods
When you download my mod you will get a RAR file:
1- Extract
2- Place in the folder: Stardew Valley\Mods\Portraiture\Portraits
If the portrait still doesn't show up press P in your keyboard while talking to the NPC!
