If you're using Mac and are having issues, try the newest mod version (2.0.1); it should be fixed now. Thanks again to Draylon for the tile layer format tip :)
I tried using this map with Stardew Valley 1.6 but couldn't use the exit towards town. The busstop map loaded ok, but I got stuck behind the pink tree and couldn't move forward. The other exits worked fine, and when I went around another way I could enter the farm from the busstop map. Any thoughts on how to fix this? I'm completely new to modding.
I solved it, but I had to edit the warp coordinates for the exit to the BusStop map. I read in the patch notes for SV 1.6 that the BusStop map had been elongated so the coordinates didn't match.
I think I figured it out. (It works for me at least) Open Farm_Garden.tmx in the assets folder of the mod using notepad or other text editor, then edit this line: <property name="Warp" value="80 16 BusStop 0 23 80 17 BusStop 0 23 80 18 BusStop 0 24... to: <property name="Warp" value="80 16 BusStop 11 23 80 17 BusStop 11 23 80 18 BusStop 11 24... by changing the "0" to "11" (the 0s next to BusStop) If you disable permanent decor, then edit Farm_GardenClear.tmx Also, I might be wrong so do this at your own risk. Hope it helps!
That is similar to what I did, just slightly different coordinates. I used <property name="Warp" value="80 16 BusStop 10 23 80 17 BusStop 10 23 80 18 BusStop 10 24
hi! this is my very first custom farm and everything seems to work fine except i have two mails overlapped? and there's some train rails under my porch. i already tried taking out the medieval building mod i use, recolors, even sve since it's my only big mod (everything else is purely aesthetic) but it's the same. i can move my house, but i can't place it where it was. it feels like theres another house under mine lol
i love the farm, love it so much that i can totally live with a vanilla mail peeking behind my moded one, but i'd be more than happy to find a solution :(
I noticed the same thing when I tried to move the farmhouse and the water bowl, and then I couldn't move it back. I used the mod "Map editor extended" to change the properties of the tiles that gave me problems.
Looks like I barely missed this mod's release last time I played the game. :) I'm going to use this for my next playthrough. I love how it's spacious without being overly huge. That means I can plan out how to place everything more freely than most farm map mods would allow.
Hi! I really love this map, been playing on it for a while now. I was wondering if anyone has been able to add custom forage or mining to the Deep Cave? I tried using the FTM Config Editor to add the custom map "Custom_SecretGarden_DeepCave" to the forage section and when I tested it, I couldn't get anything to spawn down there. I just think it'd be fun to find a purple mush or a quartz in there every once in a while. Thank you for this beautiful map!

If it's not a problem, would it be alright if you could post your unofficial conversion of this MODDED farm map to 1.6?
