Sorry for not updating in a while, college's been kicking me in the ass I'm going to (eventually) drop one final update adding dinosaur meat as a drop and a few recipes using that and the eggs Hope yall have been enjoying the mod!
Edit: Mod's finished. I completely forgot how to do anything pertaining to Stardew modding and I have no time to relearn, but I'll still try and help anybody with questions. Maybe one day in the far future I'll come back and overhaul this overhaul. Until then, hopefully the mod keeps working and yall keep on Stardewing.

Edit: I got it to work with Adopt n' Skin! It's pretty easy, just put the triceratops skins into a Dinosaur folder in the AdoptSkin mod, then rename the corresponding babydinosaur and dinosaur with _number at the end of them. For example: BabyDinosaur_1 and Dinosaur_1, then BabyDinosaur_2 and Dinosaur_2, etc. I tested it with debug but once I get dinosaurs I'll let you know if it works "organically" :>
As it turns out, the Baby Dinosaur crashes the game. If anyone wants to use Adopt N Skin you'll have to change the maturity in the config to 0 (makes all baby dinos adults instantly) and not use any baby dinosaurs in the ANS assets file, and even then (according to my testing) it only works the first time you launch the game from desktop. Exiting to title and then reentering glitches out Adopt N Skin entirely, and the only way to get both mods working again is by exiting to desktop and relaunching the game. However, when it does work, it works perfectly!
I could make it so that the microraptor grows up into the Pepper rex, otherwise it would be more useful just to use Crescent237's mod instead. I could smash together the retexture and the price / incubator changes (with the author's permission of course).
It might, provided that the new 1.6 Content Patcher update is compatible. The possiblility of it bricking a save is probably low, but I'd make a backup if you want to try it.
Dinosaurs sprites (baby and adult) go invisible sometimes when doing some animation, becoming just the shadow, when walking or standing the sprites appear normally
I seem to have encountered a bug where my big dinosaur looks like a sprite sheet of 4 small dinosaurs. I'm not using any other mod that alters dinosaurs. Do you have any idea how to fix this?
Mod's probably broken after 1 year of Content Patcher updates. Might try and fix it, but in the meantime try reinstalling and (if you weren't already) use the main version of the mod.
I think that's because your dinosaur is in the Coop, however, it is supposed to be in the barn. Craft an incubator, place it in the barn and make sure to hatch it in there rather than the Coop. Not fully sure but worth a try! Had the same problem lol
Hi, great mod! I'm hoping to make a dinosaur mod myself but I have never done pixel art before. I wanted to ask your permission (or I guess slugwyrm's but I don't know where to find them) to use the triceratops sprites from this mod in my mod. Would that be ok? I would of course credit you and slugwyrm
For personal use, I've made a protoceratops dinosaur reskin (the regular small dinosaur) using your triceratops reskin. With credit, may I upload it? I've been sitting on it for a couple years now and thought I'd like to share it, and made sure to seek out your page first.
