I used this mod, and unfortunately made a line for processing fruit into wine and jelly, but unfortunately all the wine went to cask for quality went to vinegar. Using a keg or a jar - it's not a good way to make a vinegar, cask makes sense because it is a fermentation process - good fermentation is wine, bad vinegar - maybe vegetable juice.
Is it some other keg or a standard one? Because there is a problem how someone uses an automate to process and set up a line of fruits - wine and jelly, and vegetables - juices and pickles; instead, he will only get a vinegar. He can use cask to process the juices into vinega because this line is probably slow and it is also the fermentation process in which viegar is made. Wine + cask = quality, juice + cask = vinegar. Can it be done? My question is whether it is a different machine or an existing one, because as it already exists, it is a bit tiring and the use of automate is not effective - and the process can be done nicely: box, keg, jar - as fruit is a cask and a ready processing line.
I could see someone making a bigger change.. Basically make ALL crops turn into juice FIRST, then refined into wine/alcohol/vinegar after. Though I would suggest a NEW machine first, that makes the juice specifically. Like a crop press or something. Since it always urked me that there is no grape juice.
I didn’t want to make anything that required new art this is just a simple addition I didn’t want to make things complicated, but yeah I agree fruits should also have juice
Hmm well it wouldn't necessarily need from the ground up art, a simple recolor could suffice. Maybe made using hardwood instead of regular wood in it's crafting too. Only suggesting because I could see a potential issue if someone is using a mod like Automate and PFMAutomate. Their wine would automatically get reprocessed into vinegar. But with a separate machine to turn wine or a juice into vinegar, one could atleast prevent accidental conversions.
Oh yes! Great idea! It always bothered me that I couldn't make rice vinegar. I like doing Pierre/Joja boycott challenge mode playthroughs, so this is perfect! Thanks!
