Any chance we can get a cheat sheet to the 'secrets' in this map? I think I've found most of them but there's one cave door I can't even enter and another secret place I can see but can't figure out how to get to. Exploring and finding things was fun, but now those two areas are just mocking me!1
Hey man, I was wondering the same thing! I went in with SMAPI's debug controls, and bruteforced my way through teleporting to the two locations. I presume you're talking about the big cave entrance on an island, amongst the cherry tree islands, and the little cave entrance behind two bridges to the west of the circular pond.
I was able to teleport onto the first island, but the area is marked to where you can't walk at all, and I wasn't able to find any triggers on any of the tiles in or around the island or cave entrance.
On the second entrance, I was able to teleport past the little rocks blocking it, and there's about 2 or 3 tiles of walking space, but no triggers activate.
Mind you, I haven't fully explored everything yet, so there's a chance that there could be a scripted event that changes the way the map works, but I rather doubt it. I presume that MidnightfireR has left those areas for; future development, the addition of official multiplayer, future added content (like what CA has recently teased), or that the areas may just be WIP.
could you upload a picture with the hole map? I have problems to imagine how it looks - i found a maybe outdatet Layout here but are quite unsure this is wysiwyg
The winter farm map is bugged, waking onto growing crops in and out of the Green house causes the game to freeze/crash.
The bug seems to be effecting plants in growth stage 2 and above, seeds are fine to walk over as is tilled soil with/out water.
I can reproduce the issue;
Using Smapi and mods Smapi and no mods Starting the game through the main exe file A clean install of Stardew Valley (no other mods/Smapi) and a fresh download of Shenandoah Acres.
Switching back to the normal map removes the crash.
Outside of this annoying game crash it's quite a good map.
PS. You can't interact with the wood pile next to you're house to get the Club Card.
Same problem here, but I just had it happen in Spring, just getting my first Parsnip harvest. I'm super disappointed by this, and I hope it gets fixed soon!
Why hello there, is it possible to change look of the buildings? I tried it whit ModDrop by just installing the mod, but it does not show the modded look of the buildings (just shows in the carpenter shop), help would be apritiated.
There seems to be a issue with using this mod and Jac'd Greenhouse mod which in winter seems to cause not only myself but some others to freeze as soon as they walk on their plants. So far for me it only is in the greenhouse in winter time.
Having the same issue as parker. Game crashes when i walk close to the crops. Thing is, it was working fine until today. Any ideas on how to fix it? I would hate to go back to a regular map after this one! Here is my crash report if that helps http://pastebin.com/5e7EXjR0
I am gonna give this an 8/10 for being an awesome map ... but it would be a 10 out of 10 IF: Mines werent accessible from day 1 AND if the whole map was a little bit more populated with plants.trees etc :/ other than that a great idea
Thanks for the high score. Mines are completely optional it's the players choice when to go there. Some players could choose not to use the warp ever. The warp is two ways so you can return by taking a single step back into the wall.
It's my strong belief to include content for players to choose how they want to use it. If I lock the warp then people will complain it's locked. If I leave it open, well, here we are, someone complaining it's open. But it's completely your choice rather to use it or not, where as if it was locked I'd be taking that choice away from players.
As for being more populated, well it's your job to fill it, or leave it open. Again it was a choice, either leave the debris, or remove it.
If I get some time, and more patience, I will create an optional copy of the map with random debris so players can choose a clean map or a dirty one. However, right now more concerned with working on new content for update 1.1
