Not sure why, but at the beginning of EVERY game I have reassign the key for this mod because it always reverts back to LeftStick. Is there a way to make the mod stay put with the key I assigned it?
that is weird. I use a normal config file for it. maybe I messed something up or the old GMCM compatibility broke. you have no issue with config files of other mods right?
Not sure if this is normal behavior.. but when I try to drop an item it bounces right back to me. I thought I'd be able to drop things on the ground. Like litter. Am I doing something wrong? (I don't litter IRL!)
The main reason this mod was made was for quickly throwing an item to a friend in multiplayer, so I didn't disable the default magnetism of the item. so yes, depending on how many magnetism rings you are wearing, it will have a pretty strong urge to come back to you
are you using generic mod config menu or the config file to change it? so you change the value and then it resets on gmcm save/ game start or what is happening?
edit: seems like its a bug with the newest version of gmcm, when they tried to fix that the buttons are clickable off screen. I can replicate the issue on almost every mod config menu with a key rebind at specific scroll ranges. I will report it to that mod
edit2: the bug already got fixed for the next version, so you can revert for a day or two or wait until they release the update. thank you for reporting the bug here too.
This is one of those features that made me thought "why wasn't this into the game from a beginning?" Thank you so much, this is so useful in multiplayer. BTW is it possible to make it able to drop tools too?
yes, but I'm not going to because there is probably some way that that could break a moment, where you usually can't place a chest to trade tools, so I won't risk it
Oh, no. I understood entirely and it was perfectly clear.
Giving Linus a heater just happens to be the dream of every fan who doesn't want to just straight up give him a house! >:D
Maybe consider using both to highlight its multiple uses? Cause decorating non-pathed areas with all manner of "undropables"? Sounds like a cool way to wast a day (or a week) in Stardew Valley~
I'm confused. You would pick it up immediately. It's just a dropped item, not a placed item. You can't decorate with this for anything but a screenshot :/. This is just a convenience feature to the usual 'pulling the item out of the inventory with the mouse' dropping. I should look into making a real 'give linus a heater' mod though ^^

Or do we just have to pretend its like normal real world heaters that don't pulse like a beating heart to communicate that they're On?
(For real though, I'm going to have so much fun with this!)
