no matter how I do it I cannot edit the .json file to work, it always says that it wrong and I don't know what I am doing wrong, can you put exactly what I need to know to the file, like is there anything else I need to add to it or do I need to remove anything to the file because I am completely stuck
Can't get it to work properly. Config file won't generate at all after loading my farm, but SMAPI shows that the mod is working, but it is only clearing weeds. Attempted to create my own config file, but it still wouldn't work. Uninstalled and reinstalled, ran the game with it, loaded a farm, closed out, still no config, still only clearing weeds. It's pretty clear from other posts that this is typical and the mod has been abandoned. Too bad, I was looking forward to trying it out.
Please play the game once, save the file, open the mod folder, there is this file,'config.json', open it with Notepad,edit what you need to remove, choose true or false ,then save, and then use the same method to open this file,'manifest.json' ,' "PerSaveConfigs": true' , i use this method to solve, hope can help you.<3
Just downloaded today and works like a charm!!! So happy! Make sure after you download it that you run the game at least once to create the config file. You can then quit and go edit the config file to clean whatever items you want from your farm and keep what you want.
If anyone comes across this mod, as of this post, I tested and used it in my game and it looks like it does still work! Just make sure to run the game once so it creates your config file and from there, you can edit it to suit your preferences on what you want to stop spawning!
