There's an incompatibility with The Love of Cooking (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/6830), and presumably other mods that add upgradeable tools that don't occupy an inventory slot. When you order the frying pan upgrade and subsequently receive it in the mail, you get the frying pan item in your inventory, which isn't supposed to be possible. Once you have the frying pan item, there doesn't seem to be a way to remove it - you can't trash it or toss it away. To work around this, you must avoid checking your mail until after you've picked up the pan from Clint's shop. Not a game breaker, but it is inconvenient.
You can possible use CJB Item Spawner menu to get hid of the item. And maybe there is debug commands for it too. But thanks for reporting it, I try to see if I can fix this the way a fixed with the trash can.
Just a quick question! Should I be safe to add this to an existing save file? I don't have any mail mods currently installed, just want to make sure it shouldn't conflict with anything. Thank you!
No problem adding to an existing save file, you just should get some mails in the first day explaining some of the services. The only mods I'm aware of conflicts is the ones that add features to the mailbox, like opening a menu instead of opening the letters.
Playing on Andriod phone unable to see all villagers listed. I know that I probably have to edit the config.json file to change the number of villagers listed per screen, but am having troble making the edit "stick" Can I change the size of the buttons to see more choices on screen?
Screen shows 7 tabs on the first page (4 villagers and three action tabs). The following pages have 3 villagers and 3 action tabs, but according to my available screen space, several villagers are not shown. Config.json shows the value to be 5. I can use notepad to open the file and change that value to 3, but am having trouble saving the edited file (connecting phone to PC via USB to see files on phone).
The mod works well on Android but when sending someone a gift, the UI which you will pick a specific character is too big to for the Android screen. Do you have any plan to fix that?
Feature idea, I felt that the mod is too OP and I doubt it wasn't suggested before
Is it possible to delay the reception of tools and items until the next day? To make it more immersive with the real mail system (and also ayesha (modded npc) is not omnipotent)
Also limit sending until you have 2 (or depending onconfiguration) hearts with an npc
"MinimumFriendshipPointsToSendGift": (0) Friendship points needed to be able to send gift. One heart level equals 250 friendship points.
The lore of the mod is that Junimos are doing the delivery.
I could see of adding a property to delay de delivery of tools, but I don't think much people would use that. There is already a option to add taxes so it's not overpowered. "ToolShipmentServiceFee": (0) The value of the fee that will be charged for each shipment. "ToolShipmentServicePercentFee": (0) The percent value of the tool service price that should be charged as an extra fee for each shipment. It's not on arrival, but its when you send it through the mail.
thanks for the reply, only one thing remains unanswered Gift Delivery:
The gift friendship change is instantaneous
this is the delay I'm talking about for more context: day 1 you send an item in mailbox, choose which npc to send it to (btw any chance to change the order, maybe by amount of heart points or nah?) the mailman grabs the gift during the night the mailman delivers it to the npc during the next day friendship point changes tl;dr add at least 1 day of delay
btw "
"ToolShipmentServiceFee": (0) The value of the fee that will be charged for each shipment.
"ToolShipmentServicePercentFee
": (0) The percent value of the tool service price that should be charged as an extra fee for each shipment. " I don't see the mention of gift, only tools

I wanted to do the delay for gifts, but there is some practical problems with it. All limits for gifting also apply for sending the gift. And if you send the gift but it does not apply immediately, the player could later meet the NPC and give them another gift, there fore by passing the week or daily limit. So I went with the magic explanation of Junimo doing the mail services.
thanks for the reply and testing. At least you tried Last question. how much would you recommend setting the gift base fee + % extra quest item tool base fee + % extra
I've currently set it to 1. Gifts (Regular Items)
Base Fee: 100g
Extra % Cost: +25% of item value
Example: If you send a Diamond (750g base price), the mailing cost would be 100g + (750g * 25%) = 287g total.
2. Quest Items
Base Fee: 250g
Extra % Cost: None (flat fee)
Example: If you send a quest item like a Copper Bar for Clint, you pay 250g regardless of the item’s value.
3. Tools
Base Fee: 500g
Extra % Cost: +50% of tool upgrade cost
Example: If you send a Steel Pickaxe (which costs 5,000g to upgrade), the shipping cost would be 500g + (5,000g * 50%) = 3,000g total.
Every NPC needs to be met before it shows up. All rescritions also apply, like 2 gifts per week, not having a full heart. Most a configurable, but you should be able to send gifts to any PC that is befriend-able.
There is a conflict between the Mail Framework Mod and Mail Services Mod, which are required to be installed together for the mods to work. Below is my SMAPI log
No, she should show up in the list if she is able to receive a gift. But there is a number of reasons in the description page for why a person might not show up in the list. Some of those a configurable.

If you send me the file I will add it when I update the mod. Or you can upload the file here in nexus if you want.

Last question. how much would you recommend setting the
gift base fee + % extra
quest item
tool base fee + % extra
I've currently set it to
1. Gifts (Regular Items)
- Base Fee: 100g
- Extra % Cost: +25% of item value
- Example: If you send a Diamond (750g base price), the mailing cost would be 100g + (750g * 25%) = 287g total.
