Hi this is my first mod.
I always loved the Stardew Valley Soundtrack.
But also wondered:

"What would it sound like, if it would've been recorded with actual or at least realistic instruments?"

So I just made it a thing.

This Mod is still a WIP
Currently PC only.

I'll try to cover as many songs as possible and hopefully every single one on the OST.

If you want to listent to ALL newly added Songs, please consider creating a new save-file.
If you dont want to go through the hassel of creating a new farm, you an also listen to them individually via my SoundCloud Playlist down below.

I re-orchestrate every song by hand and try to keep it as realistic as possible, also in terms of playability, all whilst sticking to the original songs as much as possible. That means some parts of some songs have to be completely re-written by me. This takes time, so please bear with me :).
Right now I am working on several songs. Before I post an update every finished song will be added to my SoundCloud Playlist. You can listen to it below:

  • Install the latest version of SMAPI
  • Download the latest version of Content Patcher and and all of its required components, place the contents of the ZIP Files in your newly added Stardew Valley/Mods folder inside the root folder of Stardew Valley.
  • Download my mod, unpack and put the folder inside the "Mods" folder aswell
  • ???
  • Profit

Optional Songs
There is an optional version for "Wind Can Be Still" that is pretty overproduced and a bit too "epic" for the calm Stardew Valley, at least that is what I think.
If you listened to it - on SoundCloud - and want to add it to your game, then here is a detailed instruction on how to do that:

  • Locate your mod folder
  • Access this folder: [CP] SDV-RO
  • Access assets
  • Copy the Songs you want to replace with an optional version (As of now it is just "The Wind Can Be Still" more might follow)
  • Access "Optional Songs"
  • Access "Backup"
  • Paste the file you just copied
  • Go back to "Optional Songs"
  • Go to "Songs"
  • Copy the optional song (You can optionally cut it to save some diskspace, but I wouldnt reccommend it)
  • Go back to "assets"
  • Paste

Dont simply override the mod.
First delete it, and then proceed as written under "Installation".

You don't like my mod?
Tell me in the comment section about it!

Still want to uninstall it?
Go to
Stardew Valley/mods and simply delete the mod folder.
You will from now on hear the default music again.

Future Plans:
Cover all SDV Songs (first goal)
Maybe Cover Stardew Valley Expanded as well. (really just maybe, we'll see).

If you LOVE my work. Consider buying me a coffee for my musical night shifts :)
