I loved absolutely everything about the 1.5 update: the music, the new locations, the puzzles and quests- it was all perfect... except for one thing...
"parrot boy's" portrait art...
Look... I love that the new characters don't look like clones of existing NPCs... but something is just... off about this child.
This little guy has such a heartwarming story arc, and great dialogue too! so it's a shame that he kinda looks like a small 40 year old man pretending to be a feral jungle child... that realization kinda took me out of the moment tbh....
and since I'm picky about my portrait replacements, (I like them to look like they're based on the original game art, not a high-res Anime replacement) I went ahead and made my own, based off Vincent's portrait merged with the vanilla Leo portrait.
Optional File:
I've added a resource pack that's just the different aspects of this portrait separated into layers, so if you're interested in editing any part of this mod for you own personal use, or converting it to a mod that adds different outfits, (I'm looking at you, Seasonal Villager Outfits) then this should make it easier for you. I use Paint.net, which is a free, simplified version of Photoshop, and a great tool to use for stuff like this.

if you know anything about me, then you know I'm super chill about this. Use these assets in anything you like, no permission necessary. Have at it fellow modders! :)
Bugs:
This is actually the first mod I've uploaded for this game, so if there are any problems, let me know, and I promise to struggle to fix any issues, but I can't guarantee that I'll succeed. I was on a Wiki page learning the basics of creating content patcher mods last night. XD
