I'm using SVE and Simple Sprinklers. Now that I've unlocked the old community garden, I realize the sprinklers there behave like vanilla. The solution is adding the location ID to simple sprinklers config file, but I don't know the location ID. Can someone tell me the location ID, please?
Hi! This is a bit of a late reply, but hopefully you're still playing and hopefully other people with this issue will be able to find this fix too. The location ID for the greenhouse in Grandpa's shed is "Custom_GrandpasShedGreenhouse". I was able to find out the ID by pausing and unpausing time using the TimeSpeed mod, as it sends a "time has been unfrozen in <location ID>" in the smapi launcher console, in case anyone needs to find out any other location ID.
Is there a way to remove the locations limits all together? Or at least add Custom Areas? Had actually forgotten about the limits till checking my extra crops on the Grampleton Fields map(SVE).
:( The sprinklers don't seem to be working correctly inside of the greenhouse. they are acting like the vanilla sprinklers even tho i put the config to act like the box.
"I don't see anything that resembles "599/2,621/3,645/5" How would I change this to have the sprinklers set to a range of 50 or 100?"
It's an optical illusion, because the author used the wrong symbols.
599/2,621/3,645/5 is actually 599/2 , 621/3, 645/5 which shows up as "599":2.0, "621":3.0, "645":5.0 in the config file.
I know the first time I looked at it I was following common logic, thinking that the " / " separators were designating real numbers ( 2,621 ), instead of being a replacement for colons " : ".
So ...'599' is the ID for the first sprinkler type, and '2.0' is its radius ( number of tiles away from center vertically and horizontally ) In his example ( on the forums ) you would add another line under "645":5.0, that reads "8":15.0( always put a comma at the end if you make a new entry under it ).The '8' is the ID of the scarecrow , and the '15.0' is the range. If you want to change the original sprinklers, you just change the last bit '2.0' '3.0' '5.0' to 50.0 or 100.0 ( as per your example ), leaving the ID portion alone.
This is regarding adding scarecrows and other objects I wanted to add my rarecrows to the sprinkler config, but no one else seemed to have the Object IDs listed I did some digging and I think I have them, so I'd like to add them here in case anyone else would like to use them
I have read and tried several times to install the mod, but i finially failed!! It is totally hard not easy!( such as what is storm loader in your forum information? I can't find it totally...)
I installed this yesterday and there was no problem. I used the vortex mod manager. When you install the mod you can locate it in the game's mod directory and modify it from there. If it doesn't work at first try "purging" and "deploying" your mods. A feature in vortex.

Happy farming!
When I start the game and I JUST downloaded this mod today, my config file looks like this;
{
"CalculationMethod": 2,
"Locations": [
"Farm",
"Greenhouse"
],
"Radius": {
"599": 2.0,
"621": 3.0,
"645": 5.0
}
}
