Is there a way to customize the mapping of the controller input for local co op. When playing Split screen when one player swings his tool, the other player will as well.
Only issue so far has been that it caused a lock-up at the Stardew Valley Fair. I was jollily eating hamburgers and accidentally hit the joystick too. My character went for an action like trying to pick up a harvest, crouched down and got stuck in that position, lol. Nothing would unlock it, had to restart the game.
PS. One improvement I thought of would be to automatically switch tool for rocks, wood, etc. But that's probably out of scope for this already great mod :).
This may sound stupid, but I'm curious to know how exactly you use this mod.
How are you holding your controller to be able to use both sticks and your action button?
EDIT: I should mention, so far I've simply been using it to turn my character (after moving him) without nudging him in the direction I want him to face, which is a great help already but I'd like to see how I could better benefit from this mod. :)
I grab my controller like this. Since this functionality is something you tend to use on very specific task and you don't need to press the right shoulder/trigger buttons to switch tools. Gets a bit getting used to switching back an forth from this grip, but it is easy on your hand.
Another option is using a claw grip?, like this. With this you don't need to change how you grab the controller in order to access all your buttons. But this is a rather uncomfortable position and might be even unhealthy for your hands if used for prolonged sessions.
I tried using a sword in the mines while using a claw grip, but it takes getting used to it and I actually got KO hahaha
To be sure, the button layout is a considerable detriment for this type of layout. I already have some ideas of making the tilt itself automatically perform actions in contextually smart ways. But that'll be once I have a bit spare time to implement that in the mod.
Hay i downloaded your mod today and smapi skipped it saying this [SMAPI] - TwinStickStrafeActions 1.0.0 because its DLL 'TwinStickStrafeAct ions.dll' doesn't exist.
