I’m getting a minor issue in that rather than not sell dinosaur, void, ostrich or golden egg plants, Pierre is literally giving them away! I’m on mobile so ostriches aren’t even in the game for me …

for the constantly saying it needs to be updated issue, I accidently put the wrong version number in the files. That wont cause any issues ^^. But for the only brown and dino eggs working, im going to have to look into that one. Thank you for letting me know!
Thank you. I actually love this mod, so many recipies use eggs it'd be nice to have an easier source, lol. I tried putting all egg types I had, everything except ostrich, into a seed maker, both manual AND automatically, and it only took small brown eggs and dino eggs. The shop only has small brown eggs as well. Thank you!
Most likely you have same as I did, Duck plant.json have extra "," added after price and SMAPI is for some reason not loading other products after it. You can go to mod folder > [JA] Cage free eggs > crops > Duck Plant > Open Crop.json with Notepadd++ or regular notepad, look for "SeedPurchasePrice" and delete additional "," at the end. it should fix it for you
This is really so so charming and I love it, my only gripe is that theres no brown eggs and that the seeds have a weirdly high sell price compared to the egg.
I was trying to make it so brown and white eggs would come from the same crop but it wasn't working out T_T but if you don't mind them being separate I'll gladly add them ?? and ohhhh I didn't mean for them to have a high sell price! I'll fix that when I get to my pc lol.
I lowered the sell prices, so now selling the seeds is equal to one egg of its type, and I'll be working on the brown egg plants now ^^ Thank you for bringing the prices to my attention!
