I mainly did this for myself but friends expressed interest, so I thought I'd upload it to the public too. Besides Harvest Moon DS, this mod was also inspired by Leyalluna's portraits, so please check it out as well!
UPDATE:
I also drew Stardew Valley Expanded portraits, if you're interested. - I don't see myself updating this in the near future, so please don't count on it. If you use mods like SVE and others and want a similar aesthetic, I recommend checking out Nyapu's portraits.
Install Instructions:
1. Install the latest versions of SMAPI and Content Patcher.
2. Extract [CP] Dong's HM-inspired Portraits into \Stardew Valley\Mods\
3. Run the game using SMAPI.
