Hello, this is a great mod! I translated this mod into Chinese. Can I upload the translated version? Or can you authorize me to reprint the translated version to Baidu Post in China? Thank you.

Hey! I'm not sure if I do anything wrong. But it doesn't seem to pop up for me. I tried several times, with and without talking to him during the day. It only asks if I want to go walk around with him (npc adventures) so i took that one out, in case it conflicted. But i still can get it to work. Are there any requirements I should meet that prevent it from showing up? Thank you!
Hello, I'm having a small problem with the mod, and I was wondering if you could help if that's possible.
The problem is, I open the mobile, click to call Shane, and I'm not given the option to ask him out on a date. I also checked SMAPI and there's no errors logged, so, I'm not quite sure why it's not giving me the option. I played through a day without talking to him (in case, for whatever reason, chatting to him was preventing it from popping up) and the option still didn't appear when I called him.
I'm using Windows, and have downloaded the Vanilla version as I do not have SVE. I also made sure I have downloaded all the other mods needed and they all work fine. I did delete the Shane Date mod and reinstall it to see if that helped, but, the same issue is occurring. I also checked inside the folder and there are the 3 folders mentioned inside.
I'm not quite sure what I've done wrong, or if I'm just being dumb and forgetting to do something.
Hey, this seems interesting, I'm just wondering if there are any plans to include female bachelors to this mod? If the right work was put in I think this could be as big as the original phone mod. Maybe even surpass it if there was a way to ask them without the Phone mod. I'm not advanced enough for something like this, so there's nothing but suggesting I can do, but it's only just that, a suggestion. Either way, great mod, as long as it works with female versions of Shane for me anyways :)
That's really nice of you to say!!! I am working on other bachelors/bachelorettes. Emily is definitely coming, I've already started on her. After that I'll probably tackle Leah or Abigail. But there is sadly no definite timeframe yet!
I never even thought about mobile! There is also no way for me to test for it or anything. Sorry about that.
Um, so you use android, right? Do you have all the mods required for the Dinner Date to work? Mobile Phone, Event Repeater (do you know if that one even works on android? I couldn't find any info about that), TMXL loader etc.?
Are there any error messages? Anything that might point to what the problem is? I'm happy to try and solve the issue, if it's in my power to do so!
Eventually, I'd love to add all bachelors! I'm only really in tune with a few of them, so I'd need help to write good dialogue for all of them. I am currently working on Emily, and I do work full-time so I can't promise how fast I'll get around to the others.
If you have a rough outline I could probably try and come up with something for at least a few of the characters?
Like I assume by the pizzas your going for favorites on Gus' "menu" when possible? And if this is borrowing from Alex's event then for Emily someone else would be delivering the food? And there seems to be some nice casual branching questions there that would likely need to be tailored to each person?
PLEASE FORGIVE ME WITH BOMBARDING YOU WITH THIS HUGE WALL OF TEXT So, the mod can be really tailored to each bachelor's personality and is designed to be fairly replayable. I kind of split the date into four parts:
Greeting
How you’d like your date to greet you.
Conversation Part 1
Your date will ask you what you did today. Your date will respond according to what you choose:
Response that plays when the player answers that they took care of their crops today = “date_crops”
Response that plays when the player answers that they spent the day foraging = “date_foraging”
Response plays when the player answers that they visited the mines = date_mines
Response plays when the player answers they spent the day talking to villagers = date_people
Response that plays when the player answers that they spent the day fishing = date_fishing
Response that plays when plays when the player answers that they did nothing productive at all = date_nothing
Multiple responses or responses conditional on the season, the world state, events seen etc. are all possible.
Conversation Part 2
Then the player gets to ask the date a question. The default questions are “How was your day?” and “How is work going?”(Questions could totally be tailored to the bachelor though. For example, Shane can be asked “How was your day?”, “How are the chickens?” and “How is Jas?”)
Response to question 1 (default question: How was your day?)
Response to question 2 (default question: How is work going?)
you could add as many questions as you want really.
?Again: Multiple responses or responses conditional on the day, season, the world state, events seen, heart levels etc. are all possible.
The end
The “moment”: The player and the date will have a little “moment”. The default moment is the date thanking the player for dinner and giving them a kiss. Up to 8 different "moments" are possible, as I can change it up for each meal the player chooses. :P
The dialogue that the bachelor will say when you speak to them after the date event. I can also add up to eight different ones.
