I just had the scene with Gunther after you donate 60 items to the museum and he called me "Mr", when my honorific is set to "Mx". I do have SVE installed but I know this is a vanilla cutscene (just checked the wiki for dialogue), SVE just changes the second part of the scene.
Hello! I believe SVE replaces the whole scene in code even though it only changes dialogue for the end of the cutscene actually. In any case this mod won't fix this scene if you have SVE installed due to a compatibility issue. I believe there is a SVE patch for this mod available however! I will edit this comment with a link if and when I find it!

I just got to Penny's 8-heart event, and it used 'he' despite me having pronouns set to 'they' (I've got the SVE neutrality mod added, but I don't think it modifies this event at all. If it does, I can let them know)

Hello! After marriage, Maru gifted my farmer a Stardrop fruit and said it was for being such a good husband to her. I double checked my mod settings and everything looked okay - SpouseNoun was correctly set to Partner. Another little hiccup from 1.6, maybe?

hey, this mod makes the game much more playable for me and I really appreciate the work you've done for it! I asked around in the sdv discord about how I could get this mod to load after dialog edit mods so that modded things wouldn't misgender me, and they recommended adding "Priority": "Low" for loads or "Priority": "Late" for edits. 1.6 changes the way the game loads in files, so instead of using a bunch of false dependencies or using the "z in the file name" hack, this may be a good way to make sure that this mod impacts as much as it can. I've also started asking dialog modders to consider compatibility with this mod based on your instructions over at GNMT!
Hello! I did know about the priority loading but I am undecided on whether to use it or not because it may cause incompatibilities with other mods. I will take your comment into consideration though. Ideally (though I'm not sure it's possible) I will add it as a toggle. That way those who want it to take precedent have the option but those who don't have that as an option as well. i love this mod a lot so far! i'm used to just picking one or the other binary in video games and sucking it up, but it's been so nice to have so many options to turn off gender stuff when i just don't want to deal with it!

Hello! I'm sorry the mod isn't working for you! I've had a couple reports of it not working but I haven't been able to replicate the issue! If you've already reinstalled maybe you could try manually installing the optional file in place of the main file? If that still doesn't work please get back to me and we can continue from there!
its the weirdest thing honestly. I am also having the same issue, but I'm playing with a group of friends and it works for ALL OF THEM but me, the one who wanted the mod in the first place. I even entirely copied my friend's file and deleted alllll of my mods and it didn't work, so I have no idea whats going on.
Hello ForestHaven! I'm not sure what's causing this problem but it seems to be happening to multiple people and I can't replicate it! I've suggested to each person who brings it up to try manually downloading and using the optional file listed here instead of the main file but no one has gotten back to me on whether that's worked for them or not. So I will suggest you do the same and please report back if this works for you!
I tried it with a clean install AND the optional files but still didn't manage to get it to work sadly :') The dialogue works fine and all but it's really only the gender icons that still stay the same
Hello again! I still can't seem to replicate this. However, since it seems to be only the gender symbols not working it may be a mod conflict! Are you by chance using any User Interface altering mods? Such as ones that recolor the buttons or dialogue boxes and such? If so can you please try removing them temporarily and seeing if that fixes the issue?
That might've been it! I couldn't figure out which one it was but I was able to fix it by adding a z to the name of the modfolder like "[CP] z Gender Neutrality" .. the struggle of 100+ mods haha ;; Thanks for helping out!!

hey im not sure if what you meant is you got the mod to work with an interface but if you did and didn't revert back, do you know how you did that? seems the interfaces dont make it compatible with gender neutral
Hello! The user "Schmellows" above said they were able to get this working with a User Interface mod by simply renaming the folder from "[CP] Gender Neutrality Mod" to something like "z[CP] Gender Neutrality Mod". Please let me know if this works for you as well!

I just wanted to mention a couple of minor misgenderings that I've found:
-If you don't go fishing at all for the first few weeks after obtaining the fishing pole in Year 1, there's a cutscene where Willy comes to your door and encourages you to try fishing, during which he'll call you either "lad" or "miss"
-After marrying Sebastien, Maru said something to me along the lines of, "I guess we're sisters now!"
in penny's eight heart event, I got the line "She has first-hand experience living in the countryside... so she knows all about the valley's 'natural resources'!"
Assuming the 1.6 content is being worked on, may I bring your attention to the Desert Festival? Aside from the usual dialogs, there is a clothing booth that has some outfits locked based on players selected gender - would it be possible to lift those requirements with the mod?
Yes, the 1.6 content is indeed being worked on. I was unaware of the Desert Festival's outfit's gender restrictions but (from a quick glance at the wiki) I believe I can make them all gender neutral. I will likely add this as a toggleable feature if so. Thank you for bringing this to my attention!

The misgendering with Willy I believe was introduced in 1.6 and will be fixed with the update when it's out!
