Will this and the Expanded mod get updated for 1.6? I currently get this error although I have updated SDVE. [SMAPI] - Krobus Dialogue Mod 1.2.1 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.StardewValleyExpandedALL).
Hello! to start, i absolutely LOVE this mod. it was game changing for me, genuinely, to be able to get to know and interact with Krobus more. thank you so much for making this mod and the time and effort you've put into it

Noticed a slight bug with the Free Love mod a/o Custom Spouse Rooms (not quite sure which and I don't want to mess with them to figure it out and potentially corrupt my saves) where Krobus will always use his spouse room dialogue despite being in other rooms of the house. Just commented that line of code out to fix it.
Beyond that, this mod is absolutely incredible and I love seeing all of his new dialogues!
The way SDV structures dialogue, you get only one line of dialogue for spouse room. And neither Free Love or Customize Spouse Rooms allow for dialogue compatibility.
If you want to be more immersive, you need to edit the "spouseRoom_<Character>" line for all spouses from all mods that contain marriage dialogue. SVE contains several marriage candidates but there's a lot more in other mods so I don't think I'll even attempt it.
Oh my god @MelindaC this was driving me bonkers, thank you so much! I just changed it myself since I didn't realize the common denominator was the human spouses appearing elsewhere but Krobus mainly appearing in his room.
Unless there are dialogue for Krobus, it shouldn't be affected by it. If you want to "force" the dialogue to take priority over that mod you need to change the dependency to match the unique ID name. Otherwise the dialogue from that mod may override my own.
Im asking because its the same mod that you require but with the bachelors references genderswaped. If i change the dependency to this one in the manifest it should all work, right?
Correct. I can't guarantee that the other mod may take precedence - it depends on the loading order. But with the exception of certain conditions my mod should take top spot over the other mod.
The current version of SVE is not compatible with Android since the 1.5 update. Feel free to use Krobus Dialogue Expansion Mod Pack instead and modify it to your wish. There's an Android version available in the Optional Files section.
I also have the gender-neutral version of that mod and I wanted to download this mod as well. Can you explain more about what will I need to edit in the manifest file? Thank you!
If you want the dependency's version changed you need to replace the new UniqueID from the previous one. You can find the UniqueID in the manifest file of the mod version you want to replace it with.
There isn't much difference between the two versions with basic dialogue. Krobus will refer to Marlon more and discuss the guild and monster hunters but that's about it.
