I'm no longer maintaining a "Without Rain Music" optional file. Until I figure out how to make a config for this mod, if you don't want rain music delete the file in the Assets folder that says "Pal_RainingJellies" and delete the lines of the content.json folder for the “rain” music file. I love this mod so much, it's working beautifully and is so relaxing. Is there a way to add to the generic config menu an option to turn off the looping? I've gotten quite used to some quiet time in the valley
You can turn off the looping from the content.json menu!:) Just open the file and change the files you don't want from Looped: "True" to Looped: "False". I may go back and make the seasonal songs not loop in a future update.
As far as the generic config menu, there's a lot of functionality I'd like to employ with it but I don't have the knowledge to do it at this moment.

Also, if you don't mind, I'd like to rule out that it might actually be working and you may not be able to tell the difference. They do sound similar because the original is mainly piano in the beginning so I wouldn't blame you if that's the case. (I just realized there's literally no piano in the original, I don't know why I thought there was, I am SO sorry lol) Here's a YouTube video of the original for you to compare with:

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to compare as it's the original main menu song on youtube and the original main menu song in my game :/ Here's my log. I haven't started the game and I still have the default vanilla main menu music https://smapi.io/log/fa3aee7dfdef4978ae1f0e7df27707c8
(I was about to say it's not replaced in other location but those are because there aren't replacement and you're waiting for permission lol)
Update: turns out the piano variation plays in the config menu smapi log(in case it helps): https://smapi.io/log/c87b86e1ab7343ee97112889f781da80 Update 2: the main menu first plays birds singing, going into Load save or online Co op to join plays a song, but not piano or the video you posted. After a few minutes browsing the mod menu, the piano song started playing. hope this helps

P.S. I used Nightowl2012 compressed version and gotta agree that the OGG conversion work really well
