hewwo!! mod update! thanks to MysticBooka, i was able to figure out that i could just add on hairs to the spritesheet so i didn't need to replace any hairs after all. to fill out a row, i ended up adding 6 new hairs (all made within 6 hours.. i'm tired)
hair 57- based off a braided top knot hairstyle beyonce had (although i don't think thats the name and i cant find pictures of her with that style anywhere :(. but thank you Beyonce. a true muse) hair 58- based off Bumblebee from Teen Titans (TT gang rise UP) hair 59- based off of Rumikos/Harvestdew 's farmer, Kiki! thank you for letting me use the design ;; please check them out! hair 60- no special reference, but i brought it back because it's the one i showed in my fatter smoother bear mod promo images. hair 61- no special reference. for that person with really long straight hair and no bangs in your life. good for them! hair 62- based off Beatrice from The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up At The Duke's Mansion (any raeliana fans? i'll try including her hair next time... it was too curly this time around) hair 63- based off Mao Mao from Kusuriya no Hitorigoto hair 64- no special reference, from a 2016 OC design of mine. she lives on!

Absolutely love this mod. Hair 25 is gorgeous. The only downside is you replaced my previous favorite hairstyle 29. I know it looked kinda close to 13 but it was different. Mostly 29 was a really long good ponytail while 13 is really small and doesn't look as good. Regardless, still using this mod though just for the color change alone.
hello!! thank you, i'm glad you like the mod!! i definitely agree they're different! it was a hard decision deciding to cut out certain hairs, especially for the ponytail :( but! i just uploaded an optional file that has all the original styles (your comment got me wondering why i didn't do this earlier LOL) here's hoping 1.5 will have hairstyles similar to my new ones so i won't have to replace any of the OG styles :"(!! (please let me know if you use the optional file + if the placements look off- i had some computer problems so i can't test them right now unfortunately!)
So I just tried doing both at the same time. Unfortunately, since content.json are both named the same I can't just drop them both into the folder with both assets. I did change the optional file to content_og.json but that didn't do anything. I kinda expected to have repeated hair but it still stopped at the standard 56 but had your new hairstyles in place.
I then tried adding in the new line of code from the optional into the old content so it would load one then the other but uhhh yeah it crashed. hard haha. So yeah you can only have one or the other :(
Question though, is 56 hairstyles a hard game limit? Like could you not upload a hair file that has the original 56 plus your two new hairstyles attached to the end? I'd feel bad if your own work didn't get used.
oh oops! yes i forgot to mention you can only have one or the other installed ;; sorry about that! i feel like i've seen some mod having more than 56 hairs somewhere... i'll go ahead and look into that! i did have other hairstyle mockups that i had to cut out :( hopefully it's not a hard limit after all!
