The generic events should work with the Looking for Love mod. I haven't written the second generic birth event for when your spouse gives birth, though. And I'm working on mpreg events now! I wrote the first pregnancy event, and I need to code the first birth event.
heya! I just wanted to let you know that I’m married to a non-vanilla spouse and my first and second pregnancy events triggered right after one another. I checked the change-log and it said you’d fixed it, so I just wanted to let you know that it still happened with a custom NPC. Oh, and the game asked me if I wanted to have a baby with Sam, even though I’m not married to Sam—so that was a surprise!

Hi! So I just got my laptop back from the shop. I have the framework for mpreg events, but I haven't written any dialogue for them yet. I'm currently working on making this mod compatible with PolyamorySweet. I'll see if I can also work on some mpreg stuff soon.
I have the polyamory mod but only to have more kids, other than that I play the game as if the mod wasn't there, so will the first two children event still work or not because of it?
if so, is there any mods that is updated that let you have more kids that is compatible with this mod?
Hi! I'm working on a version of this mod that will work with Polyamory Sweet, and I prematurely put stipulations into this version that will not allow events to trigger with the Polyamory Sweet mod. (Things just got really screwy; multiple events would trigger one right after another.) Family Planning might be worth looking into in the meantime! I'll also look into adding birth events past having 2 kids; it's on my list! (And my laptop is currently broken... so there's that.)
I actually test it out and since I didn't do anything else with the poly mod, the first two children did work properly, but I assume it would probably fineky if you actually had multiple partners. also I did try family planning but it's broken sadly :(. I hope you get your computer fixed soon, I absolutely love this mod!
I have no idea what happened, and it was honestly pretty funny, but after I got the first "Congrats, you're pregnant!" event, the "Congrats you're pregnant again!" event immediately triggered. Lance: Let's go home and tell baby the good news. Me: Alas there is no baby at home, and now it looks like Harvey got stuck in the time vortex.
I'm not seeing any errors on SMAPI so I don't know what went down there.
It's a really wonderful mod! Even when it does time vortex the only town doctor.
Same issue here! My farmer is married to Astarion from Baldur's Village, and one night the "should we adopt?" question triggered. A bit weird as my farmer is female and can get pregnant, but okay. The following evening both pregnancy discoveries triggered, and when they ended, there still were no babies in the house.
Any idea how many nights went by after marriage and house upgrade for Astarion to ask? I upgraded my house 30+ 'nights" ago (and married before that) and the "question" has yet to come up.
Hi! This mod doesn't affect when your spouse will ask you to have a child.
This is from the SDV wiki: You can have children only if you are married and have upgraded the Farmhouse for the second time which adds a nursery and an extra room. After you go to bed for the night, your spouse might ask (1/20 chance) if you want to have/adopt a child.
Hii, I downloaded the latest version and I'm having the same problem, the first and second pregnancy cutscenes trigger one after another the day after my spouse asks for having a child. I'm also using a custom NPC (Friendable Mr. Qi) and there are no errors in smapi log.
I think I fixed this; fingers crossed it'll work in the next update. (My laptop is broken, so I can't test my mods right now.) I'll get an update out ASAP though!
Hey! Just wanted to let you know that this mod doesn’t need the “Translation” tag, as the tag is normally reserved for mods that have the sole purpose of translating another mod. This means many people filter out the tag and your mod may not pop up on their feed! I’d recommend replacing it with the languages the main mod supports, so “English”, “Spanish”, and any other languages the mod supports. Thank you for your time, and happy modding!
Hi there! First of all, love the mod so much, thank you so much! Second, I can't tell if I found a bug or if I'm just talented. Context, friend and I play a modded file and I take on all the gathering and testing the mods. That's exactly what I was doing with Elliott. Last night I trigger the "Do you want to have a baby?" only to find out this mod wasn't even in the folder. So obviously I fixed that.
Only thing is, this did trigger the first pregnancy event... on the second day of the pregnancy. Fast forward to now, I've opened and closed the file bunch of times since. I got the "The baby's coming? We better get you to the hospital!" and was confused when it just skipped to the next morning, baby in crib. Then I remembered what happened last night, reopened and immediately slept. Then the birth cutscene played the next day.
Given I've opened and closed the save file a bunch of times since last night, I have no idea if or how the SMAPI log may help, but nonetheless. This was after I got the scene to trigger: https://smapi.io/log/da7581139a43479698d20efcfda59b35
Hi! So, this doesn't sound like a bug. Because you added the file to your game a day after the pregnancy event should have played, you saw both events a day late. The birth event takes place 13 days after you see the pregnancy event, so if you saw the pregnancy event a day late, it would cause the birth event to trigger a day late as well. I hope this makes sense. I don't think there's anything I can do on my end to fix this issue in the future... the mod is just a little wonky when you add it after you or your spouse are already pregnant.
