I mean, I could try... But I would neet to modify the sprite in order for it to actually work somehow properly. And even if I do that, the actual TV screen (the one you watch in the game) wouldn't fit the smaller size. It could get buggy.
Here's a smaller version of the TV. But I kept the table size because I wasn't able to make the placing size fit the actual TV size (I'm not that good at programing).

The way the old CRTs used to work, they would fit on the smaller TV stand design originally in-game just fine. BUT, that being said... there would NOT be a gap half the depth of the TV between said stand, and the wall behind it. There might be two or three inches for all the wires, but not as big as it looks in-game. lol
Yeah, I tried to just eliminate the gap (since that would have been better), but I couldn't find an effective way to do it. I guess I'm not that good at mod programing yet to know how to change furniture placing size. So instead I opted for a bigger table to ease my OCD a bit. But if I discover how to, be sure I'll update it here.
Hello, I absolutely love the idea of this mod! So thank you so, so much for making this and sharing with others. It always bothered me that the TV looked the way it does, and this is a blessed fix for my OCD.
Could I have your permission to recolor the wooden part so it matches the other furniture? I'd love a mahogany version for my personal use so it matches the rest of my house (:

Thank you! I'm really sorry but I know nothing about making mods, so I would only be able to replace the original file in your mod with whatever image I make, and I wouldn't feel right uploading something like that since it's all your work.
I made recolors for all woods though (with a preview image), so if you want to make a version where people can pick the wood they want from a config file (or just replace that one image with the version they want), you're welcome to do that (:

Oh, I'm using a ton of mods in my game, but nothing that affects what shows in the preview picture directly. The wood furniture (dresser, table, chair), the lamp, the cactus, the floor, and the blue rug are all vanilla stuff.
I never knew I needed this mod until I realized that the TV stand has been a foot away from the wall the whole time... You, my friend, are a lifesaver.
