Hi! I installed the mod as instructed, but sadly still seeing hardwood fences. I also tried the non-Content Patcher version (changing the .xnb file in the folder Content\LooseSprites), somehow that one also didn't change the fences to lattice. It should work upon building fences, right? My guess is it's some other mod conflicting, but I don't have another one that affects fences. Any hints appreciated!
Hello! This mod uses Content Patcher as it replaces the wood and hardwood fences (only). This mod does not modify the XNB files. Please follow this troubleshooting steps: First, I would recommend creating a test farm and put this mod and Content Patcher in the Mods folder only. Then place the wood and hardwood fences. If the mod is correctly displayed, then it means that one of your mods (in ur original farm) conflicts with this mod. Second, if it does not show properly even after doing the first step, please go to Smapi Log Parser and follow their instructions then paste the url here.

Tried, and lattice fences work.
So I went ahead and tried to narrow down the mod that causes it, I found that it's Stardew Valley Expanded. Without it, lattice fences work. Am I the only one having this issue?
I think I've heard a similar situation from other fences mod where users also have SVE. I wonder if there's a config in SVE where u can turn off the fences in ur mod option settings?
I'm no one, but I was browsing and wanted to confirm that you are right! SVE replaces all your fences automatically, so you have to go into the config and turn off that feature manually. I know this is delayed but I hope this helps someone!

Hello! Thanks for reporting. I tried it on Meadowlands farm and it is working; screenshots. I've checked your mod and there's no error for this mod. However, there are a few things I'd like you to look at:
1. Smapi log WARN. I don't know if this might have anything to do with my mod. Try looking it up if it does. I found this and this. I do think that has like a toggle on/off. Found MSI Afterburner installed, which may conflict with SMAPI. If you experience errors or crashes, try disabling that software or adding an exception for SMAPI and Stardew Valley. 2. I noticed you have lot of really nice mods, so there is a chance that some mods might be the cause or might be interfering with this mod.
hello! unfortunately, even after i've uninstalled my afterburner, the fences still won't show up for me :( so it might be problem number 2, which is so painful cos i have a lot and i'll have to check them one by one XD but thank you so much for replying, it means a lot! <3
hi again! i figured out the problem (thanks to stardrop), for some reason it was my farm type manager mod. it's required for sve and ridgeside, so i don't think i can use your fence if i wanna keep playing with those :(

I have made sure that in the configuration says TRUE, but I don't have the trellis fences, yet! :-( Please help, I am also running SVE, don't know if this is the culprit. Thanks so much.

Yes, the fence icons will is based on the vanilla design but when placing these fences, it will change according to how it should be. I will releasing more improvements on this mod whenever I have time. <3 Im currently helping my granma with her farm irl <3
Hello, for the person who downloaded the version 1.0.0 , please download the latest version (2.0.0). The previous version had no update keys, therefore SMAPI wont be able to update you.
