Hey y'all. Maru's 1.6 and seasonal mod is in work. Her and Harvey's update will come one after another. Planning to do her glasses/no glasses version availible. Will probably update her spouse room as well - it's too blank for my liking right now.
someone else posted a version of this updated for 1.6- the page leads me to believe they did not get your permission first. if they did, sorry to bug you, but if they didn't, i figured you'd want to know.
Thank you for looking out for me. It's okay, I understand that I'm not often around to update mods and people are just willing to have an up to date version. I will be getting back to updating all of my portrait mods for 1.6 in a month or so too
i know this mod is a bit *old* but do you think you might ever update this? or add seasonal outfits and stuff? this is my absolute favorite maru mod!! thank you either way :D she looks gorgeous
I'm obviously not in the slightest late to answer this, but if there's a chance you might visit this thread again: I am finally working on updating all of my stardew portrait mods and making new ones right now and Maru is right about next one I'm gonna fix. I'll upload it in a week or so. No seasonal variants of the mods tho, because it's an overwhelmingly big project to take on and i don't think i'll manage this

Unfortunately, after adding some new mods (none of which should have touched Maru) she still has the new portrait, but her sprite has reverted to vanilla. I've tried reinstalling this mod, but I can't seem to fix it. Do you have any idea what I could do to get her sprite back to your version?
Edit: Nevermind, I remembered I installed the no more bowlegs mod, turns out it was the culprit
Maru is my favorite of the marriageable ladies, and I love her partly BECAUSE she's a geeky girl who doesn't look like a glamour babe. Thanks for giving us a re-texture that's in the spirit of the original; I love what you've done to her hair.
I'd love to have a version of this that's exactly the same as what you've made here except that Maru's hair is black instead of red. Because black hair is dominant and red is recessive, it would be weird for Demetrius and Robin to produce a red-haired child in real life. :-)
Thank yooou so much :D I really put a lot of love in Maru's portrait. And hey, that's what I actually thought about the colour of her hair when I worked on it. But my mind went the other way around: I decided to make Demetrius and Robin tweaks later! When I get to them, I think I'll remember to go and make black hair for Maru as an option ^__^
oh, well, you need to install SMAPI and content patcher as well (these two mods are included in requirements to this mod). And when they're done, it's all simple where you just need to go to your game's directory, find there 'Mods' folder and just drop the contents of my mod there. The question is: are you absolutely new to modding Stardew Valley, friend? do you know how to use SMAPI and all?
