Looks good. Not sure if it can be done on this mod but you should definitely try doing something about the fertilizers. You could try darkening them or make them more visible. So far not a lot of mods have that feature and it'll be very helpful in farming. I see that it's on your to-do plans now. Looking forward to that.
Fertilizers I frequently use are the Deluxe/Speed-Gro and the Quality Fertilizers. I have a hard time seeing them on untilled soil. I can see them fine on watered soil (this mod actually does it very well). My only minor issue is when it is re-planting time for both the seeds and fertilizers. I till the soil then put the fertilizers, but seeing which unwatered soil are fertilized already is quite difficult. I don't really bother watering the soil after tilling since I'm running on sprinklers already, so it goes like: (use hoe on soil > put fertilizers > plant seeds).
At this point I'm not really sure if this mod can still do this (since it only affects the soil itself), but if you can make a seperate mod that recolors the fertilizers themselves that would be really helpful.
i'll try and do my best but I cant promise when I'll be able upload it. It'll be effective to track this mod and it'll give you notification on any updates.
Very useful mod, essential even. Any chance of re-texturing wet soil for winter too? This to work alongside mods that let you plant crops during this season.

This is compatible with SV expanded?
Yes it is compatible with Stardew Valley Expanded.

To clarify, this mod works for all season, even winter.
