If you do NOT have all of the crop mods installed, and you are ANNOYED by the pesky "object not found" SMAPI log messages, please reply with which mods you don't have installed, and I will try to issue the fix below:
No Bonster's Crops: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vvyx716wxk8rf1b/OK_NoBonsterFix.zip?dl=0
Download and extract the file, put it in your Stardew Valley/Mods folder with the existing SSaturn's Oriental Farm mod still in the mods folder and make sure that you merge it with the main mod. When it asks you whether you want to replace existing files, click "YES".
For anyone who's wondering why SMAPI gives you error messages, it's because some basic ingredients are put in the [JA] SSaturn's Oriental Kitchen folder despite them using ingredients that belong to other mod packs: - Sambal (requires PPJA Fruits and Veggies) - Peanut Sauce (requires Bonster's Crops)
This is to ensure that these ingredients are still usable (via purchase at Sandy's shop) in order to make other dishes that don't otherwise require the specific mod pack.
Beyond that, the Mail Framework Mod will also fail to recognise certain recipes if you don't have the required mod(s) installed, and as a result SMAPI will give you a one-time "recipe will be ignored" message.
Hello, I was wondering... If I want to use the additional recipe that requires PPJA, can I use the DGA version of PPJA? I noticed that these recipes using the JA version... If it's possible, is there any I have to change in JSON file? Or I can only use the JA version for this? Thank you ^^
hello. I'm having fun with the mod, but the two menus are a problem. 1. There is no "meat" item in the shipping list, so "Char Siu" does not come by mail. 2. I don't know the conditions for "Falooda". Is it really "milk"?
In order to receive the recipe for Char Siu, you will need to have a minimum of 7 friendship with Sandy and also have shipped at least 5 "Pork". You can harvest "Pork" from "Porkvine Seeds" if you have the mod "PPJA Fresh Meat", OR you can also get Pork from the mod "Animal Husbandry".
As for Falooda, to receive the recipe, you must have shipped at least 50 Milk (I know it's a lot >_<) and have a minimum of 5 friendship with Sandy.
Hello! I'm really loving your mod, it's nice to have so many Asian recipes! I'm an Indian and adore Falooda so i got WAY to excited when I saw it in the recipe list hehe. One small issue I had was this line popping up in my SMAPI log:
[Producer Framework Mod] Mod 'ppja.artisanvalleyPFM' can't override mod 'SSaturn.PFM.OrientalKitchen' rule for producer 'Extruder' and input 'Wheat Flour'. This rule will be ignored.
I think that both Artisan Valley and Oriental Kitchen have a product by putting wheat flour in the extruder (Wheat Noodles and Raw Noodles respectively). Both the products exist in my CJB item spawner menu but of course it would be impossible to actually make both the noodles.
Is there anything I could edit in the mod writing so that I could get both the products? It would be nice to not have a grayed out icon in my collections menu :P ((no pressure, i will totally understand if there is no solution haha))
Hello! Sorry, I haven't had time to test with any new updates for a very long time, but upon a quick look, it does indeed seem that the Artisan Valley mod also adds an Extruder recipe by using "Wheat Flour".
You can remove the conflict by deleting the Oriental Kitchen producer rule for Raw Noodles. The document you need to edit is under "[PFM] SSaturn's Oriental Kitchen" >> "ProducerRules.json" (you can open it using a simple text editor like Notepad) and the lines you need to remove are:
Of course this means you will NOT be able to produce Raw Noodles. Alternatively, you can also remove the conflict by changing the rule instead of removing it. For example by adding another recipe (like 1 Wheat Flour and 1 egg) in order to produce Raw Noodles.
But PLEASE back up your saves and game before trying to edit anything!!
how would i go about adding another recipe? :0 i really like the idea of having a diff recipe for raw noodles instead of deleting it entirely. Would it be something like this? { "ProducerName": "Extruder", "InputIdentifier": "246", "InputStack": 1, "AdditionalFuel": {"174":1} "MinutesUntilReady": 360, "OutputIdentifier": "Raw Noodles", "Sounds": ["Ship"], } I used a diff mod for reference and I had to look up the ID for a large egg because I'm not sure how to make it so that I can use any egg. I'm not very knowledgable about modding X( If all else fails I'll remove the recipe, and i will definitely remember to backup my save beforehand haha
Right so an update: Adding a fuel identifier didnt work, nor did changing the actual input identifer. I was about to remove the raw noodles data but then in a last ditch effort i opened the ProducerRules for Artisan Valley(!!) and changed the input identifer to 174 for wheat noodles AND NOW BOTH WORK FINE!! Looks like the source of the problem was with Artisan Valley lmao. Now thankfully I don't have to delete any producer rules. While using a Large Egg to make wheat noodles makes no sense lmaooo, atleast I get to make BOTH Raw and Wheat noodles now! Thank you for your help by the way and I apologise if I wasted your time with this issue X(
I have this mod and all the dependents, but I'm not getting the mail recipes. I've been getting a lot of mail from Sandy, but it's always been the actual item instead of the recipe. I dunno if this is a bug. I've been able to get other recipes in the mail from other mods, it's just these are coming in as the actual item. Sandy is max hearts and I'm in year 4 now.
Hello! Due to the buffs that come with each dish, I thought to balance it out by making the recipe a bit harder to learn. Therefore on top of the relationship with Sandy, the player also has to meet certain shipping requirements (eg. in order to receive the recipe for "Char Siu", the player will have to have shipped at least 5 pork and have a minimum of 7 hearts with Sandy). The hint for which item to ship in order to receive the recipe is mentioned in the letter that comes with the gift.
Hello! thank you for making this mod! brings more new recipes and stuff to cook :D but I'd like to ask if this is compatible with the Love of Cooking mod. I also noticed some of the "Recipes known by default" don't show in the cooking collections tab like Raw Tempeh and Rose Water there might be others as well, but they can be cooked in the kitchen.
Hi! Thank you for making such a good mod! I add translation code of Chinese! I will be glad if you add Chinese translation to the next update. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4llaitp8gt5lwyi/AADUpa1KcOddnRBsDSrbF1y1a?dl=0
