First Update to 1.6 now finished! You no longer need BFAV oder JA as a requirement. The mod now works with Content Patcher. This also means, that if you had any geese or items from this mod in your previous save file, the mod update won't work with them. They'll be turned into white chicken or error items. I'm sorry.
There's still a bug I couldn't figure out yet: In order to aquire wild or special geese you have to hatch them from goose eggs (that's all there is to it). As far as I can see I did all the configurations for it, but it just wouldn't work with my test runs. Update: I have found a way to fix it, but I do want to add some more minor changes to the mod before I release the fix: - do something about Goose Eggs and the Mayo Machine (currently the Goose Eggs are being turned into regular Mayo, which I do not approve..) - give a swimming animation to the wild goose - work on the sleeping sprites (they show quite often and their flat base annoys me) - maybe add the canada goose that has been sitting around in my files for a year now half done

I was looking through the game items using the Cheat Item mod (forgot its name), and I saw a stellar goose egg. Is that from this mod? Because I don't have any other goose-related mods installed, but I don't see anything about a stellar goose egg in the files.
This mod only adds Goose Egg and Golden Goose Egg. Are you playing with SVE? I heard it added geese now, too :) Also, I'm very happy to hear that you enjoy playing with them <3
Hello! I'm getting an SMAPI error saying the mod wasn't loaded because I'm missing a dependency (Animal Husbandry) but I thought it was optional? I haven't actually gotten a coop yet so it's possible it's a non-issue. Thank you for the mod! I love geese HONK
Don't worry about this, it just won't load the extentions meant for AHM :) The goose itself should show up at Marnie's shop (you do need the deluxe coop though!). If the error message is annoyign you, you can go into the mods folder and delete the subfolder starting with [AHM]. That should take care of it!
I won't add mayo, since I have a strong dislike for it in RL 😉 The 'working goose' mod did add it, if you copy the JA files for it, it should still be compatible with the eggs from this mod.
I can try my hand on the i18n texts for the next updates!
It seems to be working for me, but I fear I shall never figure out how to obtain a golden goose egg. I'm just gonna keep taking care of the geese, I do suppose!
Was able to fix the symbols on the buy screen by deleting the Korean translation but still cannot purchase the goose. Heres the error SMAPI gives:

I do not have AHM so I deleted the folder and the Goose item in the other folder.
I go to Marnie's and I see some weird symbols when trying to buy the Goose and clicking on it just gives me a big red error.
