Someone else will have to do it because the mod author isnt playing stardew, me and other people updated the other mods and gave him the code so the other animated fish would work
I have been using many of your animation mods. Thank you for your work! But I don't know what's wrong. This mod suddenly didn't work for me... All my other animated mods are in effect, only it (and animated more gems) refuses to work... If possible, I really hope to get some solutions. Because I really like these animated fish!
Seems like you can update a bunch of your mods and SMAPI. I don't see any errors for this mod in particular, so maybe updating some of the frameworks and the API could fix it.
Thanks for your advice! In the interface of CPA, some comments say: There seems to be a bug that animation does not play for images added by [ "Action": "Load" ] etc. when set to a language other than English. I'm not sure if that's what's causing the problem. Since I'm not an English player, my games are in other languages. I have updated CP, etc., and reinstalled CPA, hoping to solve the problem...
I'm not sure why, but this mod seems to have broken for me. I played for a few hours just fine, but once I restarted my game, animated vanilla fish continued to work while this mod and animated east scarp fish don't. Thank you for the response. I'm pretty new to modding SDV and I didn't know it wasn't the best. I'll start looking into other options since it's causing so many problems. Edit: I've tried looking through the logs myself to fix some of the errors, and I cannot find a error for this mod, so I'm still unsure how to fix it.
I install mods manually, yes it's a pain. But there unfortunately isn't a good alternative at the moment. As for this mod still not working: This is just a simple visual changing mod. If it doesn't work, it's usually a symptom of something else going wrong with either the dependencies or the frameworks.
This looks like it no longer works for the recently update stardew 1.5.5, not sure if its this mod or the content patcher animations mod, but the smapi error is saying its unable to run the animations
The current version works just fine. If you're having trouble, try and link your SMAPI log. Follow the instructions at https://smapi.io/log and post the resulting link.

Very talented work, you really made the sprites come alive Gervig. Hopefully the fishes from the upcoming update from More New Fish follow on the same suit, so that they can all look cohesive.
Hi Gervig, You actually do have, we made several tanks/aquariums. ^_^ Also glad you made the animation, I was planing on animating them myself, though I'm disappointed you didn't reach out (just checked my mails to see if I missed your message). Still it will make my task easier for when we launch the new fish update for Ghibli Town. Easier to animated 50 fish instead of 200 so thank you for that. :P
Edit: For those that don't know, I made the art for More New Fish. ^_^

More new fish got an update. The animations won’t work - I would be very happy if you could update this to 1.6.
