It should as long as PFM is still working. It's been a while since I played Stardew but I'll be starting a new game soon and if it's not working as reported below I'll release an update
AFAIK PFM still works, though it's largely redundant as most/all of its functionality has been absorbed into Content Patcher. If you're not in the modding game these days let me know, I'm considering doing a rewrite with some additional config options to tweak timing/price (Fairy Rose Mead kinda broke our economy last game X D)
Thanks for the heads up, I might see about doing a CP rewrite. And feel free to go ahead with your own rewrite, config options sound like a good feature
Thanks for your blessing! I think I'll do it as a personal exercise at first and see where it goes from there. But first I have to get my @!@% modding environment back up and running now that I've dumped Windows x_x
This mod is amazing, thank you! I vividly remember when I was an SDV noob and put FairyRose Honey in the keg expecting Fairy Rose mead, and then all I got was regular mead. The bitter disappointment.
Edit: 10/20/23 Still haven't been able to figure this one out, i tried all these suggestions, if anyone has any tips they would be greatly appreciated!
Same issue here, worked fine a few days ago, but now even in the item spawner mod the flower honeys don't appear. Smapi says it loaded just fine but when putting the flower honeys into the kegs no special mead.
downloaded this a few days ago and when i noticed there wasn't really any smapi notification about this mod almost all- i don't even think it registered as installed by smapi until i redownloaded this, and lookup anything has no flower meads listed whatsoever. really strange
After a little experimentation, change the 2nd line of the ProducerRules file to read: "InputIdentifier": "-80", I haven't field tested it yet, but Lookup Anything is giving me mead entries again.
Update: The input "-80" means the entire category of flower items. If multiple mods provide rules for the same combination of machine + items, Producer Framework uses the rule(s) of the first mod loaded. If you're using mods such as Raffadax or Quaint Living Wildflowers that already specify mead recipes for their modded items, you want to make sure Flower Meads loads after them in the mod order to avoid overriding their recipes.
Works just fine for me, make sure you have PFM installed like listed in the requirements. You might have not moved the "[PFM] Flower Meads" folder out of the unzipped folder.
I had to move "[PFM] Flower Meads" into the the main Mods folder. But after that I can say that this mod as of today still works. I put a blue jazz honey in a keg and it gave me blue jazz mead.
I'm curious, would you know how the ability to brew the new types of mead would interact with the mod better beehouses (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/10996?tab=posts&BH=0)? Ideally, I would like to be able to have the bees make honey from one of those new sources, then be able to ferment it into a different mead for each unique source. If they do not interact in this way, how hard would it be to get these two mods to play nice with each other?
This is the vanilla behavior, this mod doesn't carry over quality levels, just the type of honey. Maybe try Quality Artisan Products instead > https://www.moddrop.com/stardew-valley/mods/707502-quality-artisan-products

Thanks for taking the time to respond! =)
