Welcome to BUDGIES!

These little birds will wander around your farm, eat all your stuff, and screech while you are trying to sleep. Sounds fun? Of course it is!

Installation Guide for AdoptnSkin:
1. Install SMAPI and Adopt&Skin
2. Run the game at least once to make sure there are no existing problems
3. Download the Budgies! version and drag and drop the skins folder from the download into your adopt&skin folder (usually located in Stardew Valley\Mods\AdoptSkin\assets)
4. Change the "##"'s in the names of the budgie .png files to numbers that are not currently in use by other skins
5. Use console commands from Adopt&Skin to test if the .pngs were installed correctly
6. Buy a few chickens and enjoy!! (you can always re-name the .pngs to fit with void chickens/ blue chickens or ducks if that is what you prefer)

Installation Guide for BFAV Budgies:
1. Install SMAPI and BFAV
2. Run the game at least once to make sure there are no existing problems
3. Download the BFAV Budgies version and drag and drop the BFAV Budgies folder from the download into your Stardew Valley\Mods
4. Upon making a Big Coop a new animal will become available from Marine's Ranch: the Budgie! Four different varieties to love!

Behavior of BFAV Budgies:
Budgies take four days to mature into an adult and once a full adult they will forage for fruits and seeds, leaving behind anything that they haven't eaten. Balance-wise I am not sure how this will work as I've set them to "find" treats once every four days. This might be a tad broken in terms of progression? Let me know how it feels and I will try to re-balance the mod.
Note: As rare morphs Albino and Melanistic (Dark) Budgies have a very low chance to find some interesting seeds!

Note: once I figure out how the modding works in Stardew I might mess around and update the mod to include a Content Patcher or Custom Farm Animal support. For now, just skins for Adopt&Skin since I do not have a lot of experience modifying xnb files.
