hi friend, I have a question. I changed the configuration to "TrellisCrop": false, but it still cannot pass through the crop. Is there a problem with my modifications.
Hi Aranwen0, I have this issue too. Because the ores are produced by a plant the game seems to think of them as a crop and assigns a quality the same way it does to any other crop (i.e., fertilisers can increase the chance of getting better quality ores). This would be fine except different quality ores don't count for the purposes of crafting: 5 pieces of copper ore of differing quality can't be smelted into a bar.
How I get around this is to use either the Crop Color Combiner mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/3986), which assigns two keys for reducing all items to basic quality, and for changing all flowers to a single colour so that they consume fewer inventory slots. The keys are the [ and ] keys by default, and in the config file it can be limited to just flowers, or allowed to affect all items having a non-plain quality (this can be undesirable, since it affects the whole inventory in one go, like that iridium-quality ancient fruit wine you took ages to get lol)
Another way to get around it is to use the quality scrubber machine (https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/5663). I use it along with automate, which takes all of the effort out of it. Simply place all your ore and coal samples into a chest with an attached quality scrubber and the quality scrubber will take all non-plain samples and reduce them to plain quality in a very short time, then return them to the chest. These will then stack with each other and, if a furnace is included in the same automation group, they will be available for smelting as soon as they are scrubbed.
because its treated as a crop the ores are given quality which makes it so you will have enough ores to smelt a bar but because theyre of different quality the game doesnt treat them as the same item. sorry it took so long to reply, i much have deleted the notice while mass purging and missed it.
twinm's suggestion will probably work and i will look into it if i play again.
I have you tested it and they smelt fine and there is only one iron ore in the game still don't understand what you are saying if you could get different quality of ore there you be more then one iron ore in the game but there is only one
I have been thinking and i do know what you mean but can't have quality like plants sorry I did not understand and first have not played the for for a long time small update sorry i see you can have a quality on the coel still test but i am haveing no problem
Hi hi, this seems like a very cool mod but for some reason when I installed it, it wasn't a folder but a single file. I'm not sure if this is something wrong on my end or something else
There is a ppja mod that does about the same thing called Fantasy crops, love your mod just feel it is a bit OP. Can I change the cost and growth or will that cause a problem?
you can change anything you want jus don't upload it thank you for the comment and i am glade you like also when i get back to modding i may slow down the growth speed and thank you for telling me about Fantasy crops

I hope this helps
