I'm having a weird problem, after installing ALYSD and then this mod nothing changes except when I use the hoe that's the right color. and I'm pretty sure I did this right as all the other retexture mods I have are working just fine, I also installed these last so they wouldn't be overwritten, does this still work with 1.2?

yes it still works in 1.2 as i'm testing it now the ALYSD mod that this needs works for me. I'm using the Light Dirt - Original Grass.

Idk about the other ones as have not tryed them thought i did see that you should not copy the "Light Dirt - Original Grass/Content/LooseSpirtes/cursors.xnb" for it makes the map images when making new game gone and makes items only 1 stack not the 999 max limit. though this may fix it did not copy the cursors.xnb file over from this or ALYSD so not sure if it fixes it.

So if you made a backup of content file just copy over and just try Light Dirt - Original Grass from ALYSD just don't copy the LooseSpirtes file or u can if this mod fixes it.

Edit: Also if you use the above might not want to install this one as like was said there are grass seams in the town that are bright green and other one works fine in 1.2 so far as long as u don't copy the LooseSpirtes file

Also Linus tent is not yellowish but whiteish

Hello, I am attempting to submit the Light Dirt Grass 1 (with included seams that I'm aware of) and then overlap with this patch mod. When I do this though I don't see the expected changes. It just looks like Light Dirt Grass 3 which I also attempted and it's a little dark for my liking. What would I be missing to get the files to work properly?

Since the original creator seems to still be missing do you ever plan on patching/fixing the other ALYSD dirt and grass textures or do you plan to only keep updating light dirt, grass 3 textures (until/if a time the original creator ever resumes that is)

Hello Drummer. I'm having a problem with the town path and the grass. I installed Grass 3, Light Dirt and put your patch over it, but the green surrounding the path is the vanilla grass. Do you know what I did wrong?

My only gripe is that this mod patch and the base mod it was derived from do not affect the grass/dirt in town during festivals. I've only confirmed the egg festival so far, but it was really jarring. The festival (and maybe certain cutscenes, haven't checked all of them.) may take place in other instances of the map separate from the normal and therefore uses different tilesets.

If that one problem was fixed this would be my favorite mod, no contest.

Still, really great works, thanks a billion!

What are the minor seams you're talking about? I'd like to use Grass 1 instead of 3, but it'd be nice to know beforehand what I'm about to screw up.

EDIT: Found 'em! Turns out I majorly misunderstood your post. Oh well, grass 3 it is!

Thanks a lot for this. I actually posted a bug report on the original mod page, saw it was last updated in June and then found this patch after a bit of searching. The missing parrot and other glitches were annoying me endlessly.

Although this currently only works for the light dirt + grass 3 texture set it's still better than having my eyes fried out by the bright ground. Hopefully you or someone else will patch the rest of that mod as I find grass 3 a bit on the dark side but it's just a personal nitpick.

Hey Drummer. I downloaded this mod along with ALYSD, and I am unable to build on grass on my farm as I should be able to do. When I remove both mods, I am able to, but the saturation of the game is harsh on my eyes. The game is almost unplayable without this mod. Do you have any idea/plans to update this patch so that Lark's ALYSD mod will be compatible with the most recent update; allowing building on grass?

After installing this mod (over top of ALYSD Light+Grass3) I seem to have lost the stack numbers in my inventory...

Yes, this has been reported in the 'bugs' section... I have been unable to reproduce as of yet, but thank you for the report, it is good to know that more than one person is experiencing this. I will continue to try to hunt down the problem.

It may have something to do with the "use sharper numbers" option?

Regardless, I patched the cursors png myself to fix the issue; yours doesn't have the 0-9 near the top (Below the worm weed dig spot thing, and above the "Level up"  that the vanilla file does.

Ah! I was unable to reproduce because I hadn't updated to version 1.1.1 yet! (I don't know why I ever deactivated automatic updates in steam) ConcernedApe must have changed the position of the numbers in cursors.png for some reason.

Either way, thank you for finding the problem for me!

      EDIT: Issue has been fixed.

Also ... I just ran this mod ... and there is a problem with the town ... the grass and path are much lighter and there is a clearly visible line where it changes
    Graphic mistakes galore ... sadly

And to top it off, the hoed dirt stays the same as in vanilla
You REALLY didn't put much effort into this, did you?

      Hey Elenocora,

It sounds to me as though you failed to install the original "A Less Yellow Stardew" before installing this patch. You must install the original version, and then install this patch over it, otherwise you are missing files, resulting in seams and general inconsistencies. Make sure you install the "light dirt, grass 3" version of the original mod or there will be 1 or 2 minor seams.

You really didn't put much effort into reading the description thoroughly, did you?
