    I have a problem with pterodactyl overriding the normal dinosaur,so when I tried to put the dinosaur egg in the incubator,I get a baby chicken.

      It's got nothing to do with my mod, Pterodactyl is a diferent dinosaur, not in the same cathegory

      Never mind
      I found a way to fix this
      I just change the "Overrides Type" to false in the config

      What config file? I am having the same problem. I just get regular chickens when I put a dinosaur egg into the incubator ever since I installed this mod. I get pteradactyl just fine with the pteradactyl egg but there is a conflict somewhere.

      i changed it in the content file, that's where another comment helped me with the error when naming the new babies and i saw the overrides types in there too.

      I have been having this problem as well (nearly 2 years after your post!)....  changing "ForceOverrideTypes" to false in the content file that's in the [BFAV] Pterodactyl folder fixed it for me too.  Thanks for posting this fix, it was driving me CRAZY and I spent like 6 hours last night just trying to figure out what mod was causing the issue (without having to take out any other mods I consider essential in the case of a conflict).

      I adore pterodactyls, so thank you so much for this mod. Would you be able to update so that the meat pack is not needed? Changing "Reptile Meat" to "644" in content.json worked for me as well.
