Hello~ I've been keeping an eager eye out for your portraits on the new mods page practically since you started uploading them, because there's something so unique about them—you know what I mean, je ne sais quoi, etc.—and I just love it. But this one's my favorite so far, hands down. I might be a little biased, given the fact that I've always been partial to Harvey, but...
I can't think of exactly how to word it, but the way the aesthetic choices you made play off each other? The classic, sort of twenties-ish round glasses against the trimmer, kind of mid-century modern jacket, collar, and tie? The studied quality of his groomed moustache next to the natural fall of his curls? Somehow it all comes together to make something that feels so refreshing. Something new and exciting but still homey, still Harvey.
And then there's his ears, sticking out! Turning red when he blushes! His nose, adorable (the high bridge, the round tip, A++)! His eyebrows! Heavy but lively, expressive! His firm chin, the determined set of his jaw! The warmth and world-weariness in his eyes, the— I could go on. I won't, don't worry. Just let me say that my hat's off to you.
