Hello! Please forgive me if this was a mistake on my end, but after I installed this mod I get an TMXL Map Toolkit Error.
Technical details: StardewModdingAPI.Framework.Exceptions.SContentLoadException: The content manager failed loading content asset 'kidstreehouse.tmx' from SMAPI/xiddav.childtonpcforsvetreehouse. ---> System.Exception: Unable to load map with file path '/Users/(...)/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Stardew Valley/Contents/MacOS/Mods/[NPC] Xiddavs ChildtoNPC for SVE/[TMX]Xiddas ChildtoNPC Treehouse/kidstreehouse.tmx' ---> System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (12, 5).
I double checked that I downloaded the latest version (including the latest version of ChildToNPC!) Consequently, several of the SVE locations failed to load at all.
Edit: I think I figured it out through another mod! I found out my problem was because I'm using a mac. I was missing a file called libMonoPosixHelper.dylib. 1) If you have it somewhere else on your computer, you can search for it and copy it into your StardewValley>Contents>MacOS folder. Make sure you copy it there, don't move it. 2) If you are like me and don't have it on your computer at all, you can download it from the site: www.mono-project.com. Download and install the package, and then you can search for libMonoPosixHelper.dylib and copy it into the same contents folder. This completely fixed the issue for me. I hope this helps! . . . I had the same problem with another NPC mod and someone referenced a similar issue on some forum. From there, I just had to follow a bunch of different links and directions. I wasn't able to use this mod for two weeks until today. I figured I would tell you how to do it so that you didn't have to do what I did, or give up on the mod like I was going to. Hi! I'm unable to find the config folder, I got the deluxe art edition and when I open it the only files are an assets and loads folder, content.json, and manifest.json. Is there something I'm doing wrong or something I can do? Thank you!

ChildToNPC 1.2.0 because it's no longer compatible Remove This! NPC The Farmer's Children 4.1.3-beta.2 because it requires mods which aren't installed (Xiddav.KidsTreeHouse). Get Kids Treehouse and all of it's requirements as well.
hi! I've downloaded all the mods required for this mod and updated the necessary ones but the child continues to be vanilla. before I downloaded the required mods, this mod seemed to be working and kept asking me to download the content pack but now it just doesn't work. maybe there's something wrong with the mods I downloaded...?
according to your errors, your Farmer's Children folder is empty. so is the kids treehouse, and littleNPC. Also a few others. delete all the folders it says are empty and download those mods again.
Looking through the log, LittleNPC isn't showing any toddler being converted to an NPC. So the toddler isn't old enough (a LittleNPC config option, default 83 days)... or you didn't open the save with children in it before closing your game to make this smapi log after 1 and a half minutes.
Does this mod have any compatibility issues? And can it be installed mid game? I am using Toddler like Parents as well will this affect the mod in any way?
it can be installed mid game. it is not compatible with other LittleNPC packs. Mods that change Toddlers will work with the Toddlers. If you have the art part of the mod (recommended) the LittleNPCs will not look like toddlers once they are old enough. If you don't have The Farmer's Children Art, the LittleNPCs will look like toddlers, but will have visual problems when animations that toddlers don't have come up in the schedual. Like the ball animation I have in the images.
Hi! Not sure if this has already been asked but if I have the poly mod and have more than two kids, is it only going to be the first two kids if I have more? Or can all of them?
Hi, sorry but I can't get LittleNPCs to find/realize the Farmer's Children file with all the schedules and etc.. It registers the art, but no matter what I do it treats everything as if it isn't installed at all. Any ideas on how to fix?

If the kids become NPC before you see all the events the wrong name and pronouns might get used in the event. you can increase the age that kids become LittleNPCs in LittleNPCs config to avoid the over lap. Things have changed with LittleNPC since I last tested it so not sure if the invisible talking toddler would still be a thing.
