    Is this mod still maintained?
    Yep. The original author is no longer active, but I'm keeping it compatible with game/SMAPI updates and fixing critical issues. It's a "keeping the lights on" priority for other improvements though.

    Post a comment below! Please upload your SMAPI log and add a link to your message (even if you don't see any errors). This has useful info like what versions you have, which mods are installed, what happened in the game, etc.

    Since I maintain many mods for other mod authors, I can't always answer every question here (often I'll be busy handling SMAPI or my own mods). If you can answer someone else's question, that's always appreciated!

    Thanks for this mod! It's something I've thought about but didn't realize there was a mod for it. The only thing that would make it better is a config option to make it not have an effect in the town and farms (or only take effect in the mines and skull caverns). It's amusing to accidentally right click and a chest and then see the axe flying because I technically still had it selected.

    That looks fun, but I tend to leave all my tools in a chest when I go to the mines and take only the sword and pickaxe with me, to have more space for the Mines drops. Would it be possible to make a throwable Pickaxe version of this?
    To me, it makes more sense that, while you're using your Pickaxe to break stones in the Mines, you'd simply just throw whatever you have in your hands at the moment at any slimes that sneak up on you.

    Hey, this mod is great and helps out a lot in the early game with damage but late game it becomes more balanced out, which makes a lot of sense to me and I find it amazing. Anyway, on to the actual issue which really isn't a massive deal... but I hate that my axe throws literally any time I right click with it in hand and it does have a REALLY short cool down, is it possible to make it have a cool down like sword blocking/parrying? or just add a delay so it throws a second after you right click, because entering doors or talking to towns people or basically anything with the axe in hand causes it to stay there during the time freeze and if you enter a door while holding an axe it will throw in front the door and when you exit the building it will still hover in front of the door you entered in waiting for you to return basically. This is a long post for a minimal issue, sorry, there might already be a keybind or way around this I didn't know of... this could be solved by me just paying attention and not having my axe equipped but still I find it quite odd that the axe behaves like this, sorry for a very minimal issue once again. Thanks for the great mod overall though love having a decent ranged weapon! (someone please tell me if I'm being dumb and there is already some sort of option for this some where...)

    While the throwing mechanism is great and all, i wonder what happened to the damage? Imagine my surprise when a well placed throw spins through several slimes in a row without even so much as a registered hit. Does the axe only hit flying monsters or somesuch? Or did the last update bug out?
