Hey hey, it's currently Winter 14 for me and she did not show up yet. I'm using the latest version of SVE that also does change stuff in the back room (adding a shelf etc.). However, Abigail and Pierre had hot cocoa dialogue when I found them in the back room, and I could purchase the recipes from Gus, so I assume it technically works but something is overwriting the actual shop or stuff. Is there a fix for this? Can you adjust the load order for Stardew mods to make sure the Hot Cocoa Shop is overwriting SVE instead or sthg? (pls don't laugh, most of my modding experience is from Elderscrolls games lol)
Excuse this mod we consider it abandoned for 2021-2022? Could you generate Compatibility Files between SVE and Love of Cooking to use it, this mod sounds really interesting ... I think it's cute
Bug reports in the discord point to this mod having rearranged the vanilla tilesheets, which lowers compatibility with all mods that make any changes to the Saloon, such as SVE or the Love of Cooking kitchen compatibilities. This in turn makes it impossible for farmhands to enter without the host entering first.
So basically what's happening is that when entering the Saloon and dealing with Gus 4-hearts event (but also withouth any event going on, simply walking outside the saloon), when the cutscene ends, the screen turns black and nothing happens. I can access the player menu, and using CJB cheats menu to try and warp elsewhere does not work. I tried all - re-validating game files, reinstalling game, etc. to no avail. Then, fiddling around with SMAPI and console etc. I've noticed that the tilesheets for the saloon are coming from game+hot cocoa (it's winter, so I guess Gus' niece has set up his shop). I deactivated this mod and all has been working fine since.
I guess there is some issue with Int32 x, Int32 y, pertaining to this mod. Am I far from truth?
Hello! I'm seeing in a previous comment that Mary Ann was showing up in the Summer and Fall, and I'm having the same issue. I'm wondering if there is a conflict with SVE. Do you need my SMAPI Log?
Hi! I am just wondering about if there are computer spec requirements to run the mod or if the 1.5 update might interfere with the game running these mods (required ones and this one). I downloaded and extracted them all then I tried to run the game. It opened using SMAPI, but then after selecting my save to load it crashed. SMAPI wasn't responding. I would if it had to do with what SMAPI said when loading the game. I am new at using mods, so perhaps these are normal. If not, I'd love any feedback/advice.
Warnings included:
"Changed save serializer - these mods change the save serializer. They may corrupt your save files or make them unusable if you uninstall these mods. PyTK, SpaceCore and TMXL Map Toolkit"
"Patched game code. These mods directly change game code. They're more likely to cause errors or bugs in-game; if your game has issues try removing these first. Otherwise you can ignore these warnings. Json Assets, PyTK, SpaceCore, and TMXL Map Toolkit.
"[PyTK failed to path: NormalizeTilesheetPaths, this Error may not be critical"
Main question: Should I remove all these mods from my Mods folder? Or keep trying to load the game Also, if the game save doesn't work how do I use my backup game save in my Steam folder?
Don't worry about the save serializer warnings, they're saying that those three mods edit some low level code and you can't safely remove them from a game in progress. (So leave them in your mod folder.)
The PyTK issue has been fixed, I think, and was related to the new sprite sheets in 1.5.
If you can share a log on the official Stardew Valley Discord, someone should be able to help you with your crash problems. It is unlikely to be because of this mod, unless you don't have the prerequisite mods (like Spacecore) installed.
