Do you have any plans to convert this to CP so it can be used with SDV1.6? Now that CP can add livestock, BFAV is being completely abandoned and it doesn't work with the newest version of the game. If not, would you mind if I did so? I see you've used some other artists' work as the base for your sprites, so I assume I'd also need their permission as well.
I don't know how to make the quails lay quail eggs because BFAV gives an error that both types of quails are not recognized objects?. You can set the produce items to something else that will be recognized but I really want my quails to lay quail eggs!

If you go to PPJA - Artisan Valley https://www.nexusmods.com/stardewvalley/mods/1926 there is an optional PFM file add on for the quail mayo. It's in misc files :)
Hi MelindaC, would you be able to share how you set up the PFM file / folder? I don't use Artisan Valley and would prefer to have a PFM version if possible. Update: I was able to set up a PFM folder by modeling it after the BFAV Phoenixes files.
How do I buy the quails? I have downloaded both the quails mod and paritee mod, but still, I can not buy the quails. I would like some help, since I have never used mods before.
Thanks for the mod. Really enjoy having the options to get different animals. However, I can't get the recipes for fried quail eggs/poached quail eggs/ boiled quail eggs. Already at year 10.
