hello ! I followed the instructions from the desc and changed the 4th cat's (the black cat) design into a jolteon in the mod folder! but the cat is still a cat in my game. I don't know why :c
do you have content patcher installed as well? it's a dependency, as well as SMAPI. If you have both of them installed and it's still giving you an error please upload your log to logs.smapi.io and reply with the link so I can try and help!
This is a great idea! I'm having an issue though--I replaced cat2 with the png from munchkin kittens, but now my cat is invisible! any idea what the issue is?
unfortunately, since it's compiled from various users and posts on the naver fancafe, I don't have permission to share or redistribute their assets, but if you make a naver account, you can join the fancafe & see what they have for yourself! (I merged many different furnitures together, and don't fully remember which post I got each from, unfortunately). I'm sorry, I hope you understand!

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with it; are you able to be more specific? Did you replace any of the included graphics? Because the graphics I included in the pack are the default ones; if you don't change them it will just display the default pets & horse...could that be what went wrong?
If it's an XNB file, like the horse, do you just drag it into the folder and it works some magic? Lol. Also where I can I find these mystical tumblr communites? That bed is so cuuuuute!
if you have an xnb file, there are two ways to load it. The first way (which will not change the image in the cursors file and therefore will not show the horse's changed face on the pause menu) is to just edit the content.json, scroll down to where it says "Logname: horse" and edit the field with "fromfile": "assets/horse.png", change the .png part of that to .xnb, and place the xnb file in the assets folder, this will load the xnb instead.
However, if you want the new horse to be loaded for the pause screen, I'd use a program like xnbcli (https://github.com/LeonBlade/xnbcli/releases) to convert the xnb file to a png, copy that png file to the assets folder, and copy the horse's face from that sprite sheet to the horsecursor.png file included with the content pack.
The other thing you asked about I have pm'd you about; I hope you'll understand!
Inside the assets folder, there are files called catcursor, catcursor1, dogcursor1, etc. If you open those files in an image editing program like paint dot net (https://www.getpaint.net/), you can select and copy the pet's face from the sprite sheet you chose to replace and paste it into the corresponding cursor file. That should do the trick! Hope that helps you out, but if it's not clear please let me know and I'll do my best!

EDIT: could it be that you didn't rename the file to be the same as cat2.png? are the dimensions of the image the same?
