Hello! I am getting an error that I do not understand when loading this mod:
[SMAPI] Skipped mods [SMAPI] -------------------------------------------------- [SMAPI] These mods could not be added to your game. [SMAPI] - Slightly Cuter Sprites for SVE 1.3.0 because it requires mods which aren't installed (FlashShifter.AndySVE, FlashShifter.MarlonSVE, FlashShifter.MorrisSVE, FlashShifter.OliviaSVE, FlashShifter.SophiaSVE, FlashShifter.SusanSVE, FlashShifter.SVETMX, FlashShifter.VictorSVE).
I agree tho, I notice everyone seems to have the same skin tone as their old sprite. But somehow only Susan was changed to be more lighter, she looks fair skinned now. The sprites are all adorable, but this little detail bothers me a bit.
I decided to basically reimagine/rework Isaac. Nothing against FlashShifter's original design, but he just felt like he was too similar to other characters. For example, there's a lot of purple haired NPC's already (Olivia, Victor, Alesia, Abigail, Shane, Sebastian, Rasmodius) whereas there are fewer with orange hair (Elliot, Leah, Penny, Robin) and I felt like his hair color would be unique among the oranges. The skin tone change was primarily because there aren't any darker skinned male romance options. Since he's from the desert (plus his lighter hair looks great when paired with darker skin) it made him a perfect candidate to fill that slot. I kinda went for a middle eastern prince mixed with greek Apollo feel for his concept.
I have recolored his portrait to match his sprite, but I'm saving that to release with the next SVE update (which should be fairly soon). It'll likely add new sprites so I'll need to update my mod then anyway and I don't want to annoy people with multiple updates. As far as his sprite placement is concerned, that's how they are in his original spritesheet. It may be because they're not fully utilized in game yet or because of how FlashShifter decided to position him in the Adventurer's Guild/etc, but I didn't want to mess with it.
I totally get if someone isn't a fan of my idea for Isaac though. Thankfully, since Poltergeister has their own SVE sprites, you can just disable my Isaac and use his. :D
Lol. Slightly Cuter Character Sprites came out with a nose option in the latest update so I've been working on adding that to my next update as well. :P

I have the most recent update of SVE.
Love your work, much appreciated.
Otherwise the sprites are good, especially like that you added a no nose option.
For some insight on Issac:

Also, thanks! I appreciate the comment.
