   Currently, the dialogue box doesn't work because it states that it requires SMAPI 3.0 or later. I don't think there is SMAPI 3.0 as of right now, or at least not to my knowledge.
   
   EDIT: I managed to make it work, apparently you just have to change the minimum API version to the current version which is "2.11.3"" which is located in the manifest file. Also, in the content file, there is a missing comma between black and disabled, which i guess messes with it and doesn't change to dialogue box in game.

      just to verify. i just need to change to API as you said and just to put a comma inbetween black and disabled? to get it to work?

      Overall works but the dialogue boxes with the NPCs don't work. I've done what I can based on the below comment but it still hasn't worked for me.
