I haven't had the opportunity to verify it, but since changes tend to add to existing files (or create new ones), the numbers that tell the mod what lines of dialogue to change shouuuuuuld all be the same. The biggest potential issue is that any new dialogue won't have yet been reviewed and edited.
OMG! This mod would go great with the Happy Birthday Mod that allows the Farmer to have a birthday like everyone else in the valley. I can't wait to use this mod in my Let's Plays. This mod is what I have been looking for and will give more story depth to my Let's Plays.
I am a mature adult and appreciate this mod a lot. I'm not the age of Abigail, Maru etc. I'm more the age of Harvey and Elliot and would like to be treated as such. Thank you for your work! :)
could you add an option for young adult? i imagine myself playing as not yet 30ish but early-mid 20s, just out of school and got the job at joja corp for a year or two before giving it up.
As far as I'm aware, that's how the base game dialogue treats you by default! This mod tweaks dialogue that already refers to the player character as a young adult. If you see anything specific that you can point to as referring to them as older than mid-20s, you can collect those lines on your next playthrough (or by reading through the game's dialogue files), and I'll see about adding the option. (Or you could deconstruct my mod to figure out how to change the lines yourself; if you copy any of my code directly, be sure to check and follow the "Permissions and credits" section of this mod's description before you upload your mod anywhere.)

I'm in my mid 30s, so I tend to blanket assume characters I make are in the same age range. It was pretty jarring the first time I played to see everybody talking to my farmer like they were super young!
Hello, i am brazilian, and it would be very helpful to make a dialouge in portuguese, so people of my country would know what this is all about. If you let me, i would translate your mod into portuguese, just reply to my comment, and thanks.
The current version only makes changes to the English dialogue files, because I only speak English fluently, so you can install it on a game where the language is set to Spanish (or another language besides English), but it won't have any effect.
I may eventually try making a Japanese language version myself, but Spanish would definitely have to be done by someone else, as I don't speak more than a few words of that language.
