Last night I spent over an hour trying to figure out why my modlist was crashing after porting from windows to my steam deck's native linux. Turns out it was this, of all things that was causing it to crash before reaching the menu.
Why does it crash? Because Linux is very case sensitive, and the content list calls upon Item, but the file name is item. Lowercase, instead of uppercase. That's it. That was what was causing the crash.
No, I mean the content.json file is literally identical to the one in the main file, so the overwrite does nothing and I don't see how that can add anything. Unless that functionality is already in the main file, I don't think the patch works as intended.
actually you've made me aware that there was no need for the patch anyways as the music is specific for the location and is not replacing a default song.
the music is awesome, but every time i add even one of these to my game, it'll load the first and maybe second time, but then the game won't load at all :{ any ideas of how it can be fixed? i have around 141 mods, but it loads just fine the first couple times :?
