I'm using the triple mod for Sam-Alex-Elliot and noticed a line where Vincent mentions he wants to be just like his big brother. reading in the comments I assume you don't mind being told about those so here it is.
Don't think it was any particular event, I talked to Vincent while he was home and Sam was in the main room as well as their mother. I have 1 heart with Vincent and Jodi and 2 with Sam (not sure how relevant that is xD) I have a screenshot here: http://imgur.com/nhCT8e1

On a side note, with this game already being open on gay marriage and having a interracial couple, I just imagine Sam had a gender change operation and this is what's causing the occasional confusion here and there xD.
Are you using one of the earlier versions of the mod? I know I missed a few when I first brought it out, but pretty sure I fixed that one in a later version (at least when I play it says sister).
Also if you have anything else that changes dialogue and does anything to Vincent's, then that would over write any changes I made. Unfortunately dialogue change mods aren't compatible unless someone makes a patch specifically between the two cause of how everything in set up in the game.

No I'm using the triple text mod you made for all of Elliot, Sam and Max, but I just checked and seeing it's only 1/5 the size of the Sam only I think it's really just because it's older.
I've started reading about modding Stardew since I enjoy playing it so much and so far I learned about changing in-game sprite and that windows 10 doesn't support the XACT tool for sound editing. I'll read more into it and if editing text is as simple as extracting> finding> replacing text and repacking I might take the time to put the three text mods together as you update them, only if it's okay with you off course.
I happen to have a lot of free time right now so I could use it on something useful for once. I'll contact you again for permission once I learn how to do it.
The triple text mod I made for all 3 is a patch so all three would work together without having to worry about overlap. You still need the main files from all 3 installed first THEN install the patch.
Also editing text is as easy as extracting > finding > editing > repacking. Look up xnb_node cause it's a good extracter/repacker. Even with that though, some of the dialogue is hard coded into the game and can't be changed yet. Mostly things like the marriage event, wether you adopt or give birth to a kid, what the doors and objects say, and a few other minor things.
Once Adarin releases the last mod, he plans to make a large package for all of them and I'll do the same for the dialogue so no one will have to worry about patching (unless they want to use a different mod that changes dialogue and/or mail, but that's something they'll need to request if they want it.)
Hey I'm using SDVMM to download mods and I have all the files here uploaded to it and it says sam is my boyfriend and he says he's excited to be my Husband, have I downloaded this wrong?
No, there are certain things hard coded into the game such as where it says they are your boyfriend. We haven't been able to change certain things until the API's advance further. As for where he says he's excited to become your husband, I'll double check to make sure I didn't miss anything, but there is some dialogue that's hard coded as well.
EDIT: Found the part about being excited to be your husband and fixed it in the latest version. Thanks for letting me know about it!
Technically you could use any mod that only changes the portraits for bachelors into women, but I made these in response to Adarin's girl mods which have really awesome artwork.
Heyo! I found a little tiny thing during Penny's (I think 8 heart event? It's the one with the kids in the picnic) where Sam's little brother talks about Sam lifting him up. The thing is that he refers to him as an older brother. Just wanted to heads that up.
Also, (I think this is more on the coding side), the relationship menu refers Sam and Alex as boyfriends while Elliot is a girlfriend. As before, I'm guessing this is just hardcoded? Thanks for all the hard work!
I'll c heck on the heart events, a lot of those can actually be changed. Also in your game it refers to Elliot as a girlfriend instead? Could you send a screenshot of that for me? I'd be interested in seeing cause that would mean something I tried changing worked finally.
:P just married her/him and when Lewis is courting the player character and Sam he says "...i know pronounce you as husband and well husband". Just thought id let you know.

It's a little complicated to explain, but there is 1 or 2 files that contain dialogue for both of them that would need to be changed and if someone is using one mod and not the other, then the dialogue needs to be changed for just one. In the case of using both, then I would have to create a whole new file that changes dialogue for both.
It's kind of like you have to customize certain files for each person depending on which mods they use. I can create a patch so you can use both, but keeping track of all changes which will be between 5 different mods will be difficult. Also Adarin is going to release a large mod which changes all of them together and I was going to make a large package that does the same for the dialogue.
Other than that, you CAN use the two together as it is, just depending on which you install last, certain dialogue might not be changed for the character you installed first, usually something to do with events. Best bet would be to plan which you want to get all the events with and install that one last.

Basically the way the game is set up, most dialogue is in different files, either character specific, or location specific for heart events. Dialogue for festivals is partially in the code for the game rather than dialogue files.
The case being in some instances, 2 different characters might have hearts events in the same location (i.e. Alex and Elliot both have an event at the tavern). In cases like that, if you have two different mods changing dialogue, one for each character, both mods would change the file that has the dialogue for the tavern in it, but only for each character. So trying to install both, one file would over write the other. To make both work together, you would have to create another file that changes dialogue for both characters together.
Once the large genderswap mod comes out, I'll make a mod that changes the dialogue for all the characters together so it won't be a problem. Till then, there might be small errors here and there if you mix 2 different mods, but mostly just in heart events if you decide to get all the events.
I looked it over and you should be able to use Sam and Alex together without a problem. I didn't see any files that overlapped between them. I think it's just Alex and Elliot have 1 file so far.

Your dialogue changing mods are kinda like a necessity for Adarin's Mods in my opinion, and I honestly wouldn't use Adarin's mods if it wasn't for yours so I really appreciate the dialogue mods (Not saying Adarin's mods are bad, is just that when I read "He" instead of "She", it ruins mod imo)
I've seen a couple mods that change the dialogue, but the art isn't as good as Adarin's so after seeing his mods, I knew I had to make these to go along with them.
I just DL'ed this and so far it's awesome. But I'm still getting the "Sam's on the clock... Better not get him in trouble" when I visit her at the store.
I had the event where Sam drops the egg in the house and one of the options said something along the lines of "he dropped the egg". Can that be changed?
Messages that aren't dialogue seem to be mostly hard coded in and can't changed yet. This seems to be one of the cases but I'll keep looking into what I can do.
