To add my 2 cents, if anyone has issues clicking the profession to change, your UI scale AND Zoom level have to be the same for it to work... you don't need it to be 100%, e.g. I have my Zoom 75% AND UI Scale set to 75% for it to work. So no need to change UI to 100% just to change professions.
does this still work? nothing happens when i click on the skills (i'm clicking on the popup for the profession you chose), its a save i made before installing the mod if that changes anything
To piggy back off of this, selecting the profession does not work when ANY scaling setting is changed from 100%. Not just UI. This is in game version 1.5 just so the author knows.
Makes sense, it stopped working when I saw I could zoom out my UI (and did) Thank you! I'll put it back to normal to change my professions and just put it back after.

Hey, I can't seems to open the profession change window. I play on split screen multiplayer (1 keyboard/1 controller). My friend can do all the trick with his mouse, but I can't do that using my controller (I tried pressing A/X but nothing happens), any help?

Yes. Normally when you mouse over a profession on the skill page you get a small pop up showing the current profession. With this mod you can click on this profession popup to open the level up menu for the profession choice. (Edit: i updated the mod description to make this more clear.) Could you test with mouse and gamepad? Both should be supported. Are you using the newest version of the game, SMAPI and this mod? Can you list all other mods you use so I can test if there's any mod incompatibility? Thanks!
Hmm, I updated to 1.0.7 and found that my SDV needed a slight update (was on 1.3.36 but there was a small one). I'm using it on GOG, would that make a difference?

Oh, wow. That's a lot of mods. I kinda don't wanna install all of those, at least not right now. I guess it's pretty safe to say there's a high chance there's some mod incompatibility. Would you be so kind to do some testing yourself? I suggest disabling all mods, then trying the first half, then the second half and narrowing it down. I would greatly appreciate it :-) A fast way to disable mods is to move them from the Mods folder to a new folder "UnusedMods" or similar.
Looks like it's SpaceCore as far as I can see, it moves the wallet to the top of the screen due to other skills being added. Pity because I really love Space's mods...
Thanks a lot, really appreciate it. I fixed the incompatibility in v1.0.8, should work better :-) Changing cooking/luck professions still won't work, but at least nothing implodes this time.

Those are my mods, yes it's a lot...
A fast way to disable mods is to move them from the Mods folder to a new folder "UnusedMods" or similar.
Changing cooking/luck professions still won't work, but at least nothing implodes this time.
